Default Base 370z to track ready

Here is how she sits at the moment but I am currently in the process of ordering a decent amount of parts so it will be ready for the track. I won't be doing any wheel to wheel racing with it but there will be doing a lot of autox and HST. Current list of parts:
1) AP racing 6pot front and 4pot rears w/ red calipers
2) 18x9.5 et27 or 18x10.5 et 30 F and 18x10.5 et30 R Enkei NT30M in F1 Silver
3) 265/40 or 295/30 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's up front, 295/35 PS2's in the rear. Thinking about going with a square set up but I need these options to be steet-able until I can afford another set of wheels. The base wheels will clear the AP's but I am not a fan of how they look. I can always run them just with a wider tire.
4) Swift Springs and camber arms
5) F.I CBE with 12" resonators

Brakes will be ordered by the middle of the month and wheels/tires the following month. Everything else will be later on, just not sure when. The only part for the track that has been added is a Z1 34 row oil cooler. TWM A6 Leopard shift knob and JDM fog light have also been added. The shift knob has been raised since it sat way too low but I don't have a pic of that yet. I can't wait to start getting all these parts in and I will be taking 2 weeks off, have a lot of leave saved up, to do nothing but get everything installed.


Oil Cooler install with new floor jack. It's just a Harbor Freight 3 ton racing jack but it works really well. The engine cover was painted and it took a full weekend but turned out great and is still holding up. I used several coats of adhesion promoter, several coats of red auto paint and several coats of clear.







I was using craftsman 4 ton highlift jackstands and jackstand pads to protect the pinch weld. They work really well and the jackstands can be left in their lowest setting yet still allow me to slide under on a gurney.

Fog light, that's a '71 MG B to the right. It belongs to my roommate and he recently added a '70 Porsche 914 2.0L as the next project. I used simota1's DIY for the light. We actually had a blacked out smart car with a raspy exhaust try and race us one day... it was really funny.



I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I am out of country till the fall so nothing is happening till then but I have been using my free time to get a good list together and hunt down parts. If I can't drive it, I can at least shop for it! My jeep needs some love too but its mostly TLC. I have had it since I was 16, bought it off my parents and they bought it when it was new. '98 Jeep XJ with Rubicon Express 3.5" suplerflex lift, 32x11.50 Maxxis Bighorns and 15x8 cragar steelies. I have a tire rack for my spare and this thing has taken me on some pretty intense trails. 180K miles and still running strong! My Hella 500's are not on the bumper in this pick since they were destroyed after I was backed into. The car was in reverse doing about 20mph and the lights were the only thing damaged. My insurance company sent me new ones and they are now installed. Those are hood pins, my hood latch cable snapped while at school in Vermont and it was 0* out with no garage. These were the cheapest, easiest and quickest to do.

New wheel selection, SSR Type F. I will be ordering them from Vivid in a month. The SSR app is pretty cool, upload a pic of the car, pick the wheel, then size it to match. Transferring it from my ipod to computer was the hardest part though.
