I got an update on the steering wheel group buy, they said they would offer 15% off and they currently have 5 wheels in stock to begin fabrication, lead time is about a month. Ill be posting an interest thread once I get a base price from them. Sent me a message if your interested.

How do you like the seats? I'm considering getting one in the summer and want to know if they're comfortable enough for everyday driving.

I love the seats. im about 5'9" 160lbs and they are perfect! Ive made a few long trips in them and i never felt uncomfortable.

IMO a deep bronze wheel like the work meisters would compliment the 40th better. I like the gold wheels but the bronze I think would be spot on.

well i found the air leak. Luckily its not the cup and its just the elbow fitting where the airline connects to the cup. I ordered a replacement and if all goes well this thing should be compeletely done within the next week, which is good cause im making a drive to St. Louis next weekend for my second show of the year.

Ive been contemplating whether or not to hide the compressor under the false floor in the hatch area, however the compressor gets pretty hot when its filling the tank up, does anyone have experience? Does anyone think it will be an issue?

Here are a few iPhone pics of the parts I finally had a chance to install this week. What do you guys think of the gold wheels? I need to add the spacers to the back, but I'm honestly not hating the color.

Other pics include the Takata harnesses and tow strap, painted headlights and the TS strut bar. Beside the cup kit not working right I had issues with the fitment of the CFE cooling plate, I think I need to trim alittle around where the latches are, so for now I'm switching it out at shows.

Hopefully this week I'll be able to get the cup kit working right. I'll also be sending a few parts to Mike the Powdercoater to get a color update.

Forum member "Mike" or Mike the Powdercoater finished my lugs and rear strut bar today! I have nothing but the best to say about his service and work. I'll be sending my air tank to him next week.

Jeebus. Slow your roll buddy. Gotta give us normal people a chance to catch up to the bar you keep raising. :stirthepot:

FairladyZ10PG 03-31-2014 08:37 PM

Sadly some of us will never get there...:(
