You guys seriously just made my week. I have been so stressed and working ridiculous hours between the ambulance and building this car for SEMA. Those Paul Walker pics just made it all better hahahaha. Thanks :)

stevent85 11-06-2013 09:06 PM

Dude where is ur car set up?

martin82 11-07-2013 02:40 AM

I'm doing la to Vegas under 3 hrs right now!!!

Reaper42 11-07-2013 09:07 PM

Tomorrow is the last day of SEMA! If anyone wants to meet up by my car and see the exhaust set up, etc. send me a PM

martin82 11-08-2013 01:35 PM

ka24king 11-08-2013 03:40 PM

stevent85 11-09-2013 09:19 AM

I couldn't find your car. Saw that yellow one Martin mentioned and a red one.

GaleForce 11-10-2013 08:35 AM

Jon, it was great seeing your car and talking with you. The next round of modifications you have planned are going to be awesome! Keep up the good work!

So I am back in chicago now, in 30 degree weather, snow, and back on the ambulance. SEMA was a fantastic experience, I def encourage all of you to try and go sometime. It is fairly easy to get tickets if you know at least someone in the industry, and a lot of your builds would do well there! There was only 3 370z total that I know of, it would be great if next year we had more of a presence! Big thanks to everyone that took the time to come meet me, it was great to finally put faces and human interactions to the friendships I have made on this great forum over the past 5+ years. Expect to see A LOT more support in the aftermarket for the 370z over the next year! :)

Some media coverage of the Z so far from SEMA.

I would like to help raise money for Paul Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide. To do so I have collaborated with Element Graphics & Design, Inc. to make some stickers that you can wear proudly on your car in remembrance of Paul, to what he stood for in our community, as well as to the Fast & Furious franchise. Proceeds will go directly to the charity Paul founded, Reach Out Worldwide. ROWW's mission- to provide "a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts." such as the the typhoon in the Philippines as well as the recent tornadoes that struck my home area here just a couple weeks ago.

I will provide a snapshot confirmation of all the money all of you help donate to ROWW, from ROWW's own site.

Each sticker is $10 plus shipping fees, there are 6 different designs and come in either black or white so please specify. Please message me on here to place an order.

ALSO! If you don't care for stickers on your car, but would still like to donate, head over directly to Reach Out WorldWide's website at ROWW.org They have a very easy to use donation set up that accepts all credit cards and paypal. Anything from a $1 and up helps!

Paul was at a charity car show for ROWW when we was killed and I'm sure there is no better way he would want to be remembered than for us to support his vision of helping victims truly in need.

Thank you!

Jon Sackett

Out of the $10 for the sticker, how much of that is being donated to the charity?

Isamu 12-05-2013 11:03 AM

I donated to the charity up front :)

martin82 12-05-2013 11:22 AM

FYI it's been posted online to only buy stickers and shirts from the website from the charity as nothing else has been approve

Reaper42 12-06-2013 04:58 AM

I'm asking for $3 for shipping on top of the $10. After the cost of getting the stickers made, postage, pay pal fees....pretty much the entire $10 for each sticker is getting donated to the charity. Sadly I'm probably one of the very few people actually doing this and making the donations to roww.

Check my Facebook page, I have already submitted of $160 to ROWW and have put up pictures of the actual email confirmation from roww and bank account showing money was sent to the organization.

Like I said everyone is encouraged to send money directly to roww. But of majority of people won't do that, majority of people are interested in a sticker to put on their car, so im taking advantage of that to help peoples money to find it's way to Paul's charity, not some greedy ******** pocket

$3 shipping (for a sticker? Really?) on top of the $3? What $3? You're charging $10 for a sticker. Shipping can cost a stamp. Paypal on a $10 item is $0.30. How much does it cost to make the sticker? That's an easy enough number to get. Providing a concrete number of "for every sticker sold $x goes to charity is easy enough to provide. "Pretty much the entire $10" leaves plenty of wiggle room for the people involved to skim off the top. So you've sent in $160 off of how many stickers sold?

Here I'll break it down for you chuck...

7 people ordered stickers. I was sent $193 (one guy sent me two extra dollars for shipping) Pay pal charged me $7.11 in fees for all of that. So the balance left in my paypal account was $185.89 which I transferred to my bank account. I had to pay a company $20 for the stickers. That leaves $165.89 left. I sent in exactly $165.89 to ROWW which you can see confirmed on my facebook page thats publicly viewable facebook.com/jonsackettofficial

Now lets not even factoring in the $4.50 cents I paid at the post office in stamps, plus the cost of envelops. So not only did I not make even a single CENT in profit, but over $5 came out of my own pocket.

So Chuck.....want to actually buy a sticker and help Paul's charity? :tiphat:

You managed to donate $165 for 7 stickers? That's $23.57 per sticker. How many stickers were in those 7 orders? That would make it easy to say "$X out of every $10 goes to the charity".

Maybe you should also break down how you're shipping a sticker that costs $3.

FYI, I donated directly to the charity. Less of a chance for middlemen to skim off the top.

I said 7 people ordered stickers....everyone had different orders.

Listen I just showed you that every penny that wasnt an expense of mine went to his charity, I dont need to break it down anymore than that dude. Now you're just being an a-hole. I am not some company, I have a job and other things in life to attend to. I asked a flat rate of $3 to simplify everything for myself, if it cost less than $3 after mailing and fees or whatever, that was just extra money sent it on top of the $10, I'm pretty sure anyone that wants to complain about that has absolutely no respect for Paul Walker or his charity in the first place and just wanted a stupid sticker. The point is I went out and actually raised money that would have otherwised NEVER seen its way to Paul Walker's charity. I didnt profit a single penny off of it and in fact had to pay money out of my own pocket.

I have friends that actually knew Paul Walker personally and people from the crew of Fast and Furious order stickers through me. I think I am pretty well trusted.

Now again if you could stop deviating this thread away from the good cause it is trying to accomplish right now I would greatly appreciate it.

Chuck33079 12-06-2013 07:41 AM

Considering how many shops are making profit with sticker sales right now so they can "donate to his charity", it's not out of line to ask for a cost breakdown. I'd ask any of them the same question if they were soliciting on the forum, it's not just you.
