So you’re saying that the noise was driver side but the passenger side bearing was the culprit? I had a friend drive my Z while I was in the passenger seat and it still sounded driver side...

It sounded like it was coming from the driver's side to me (i rode in the passenger seat too)but it was actually coming from the other side. The problem i had is that it wasn't noisy enough to hear with the wheels unloaded on a lift.Have you tried that?

Definitely can’t hear it on jackstands. Needs a load and about 30kmh to hear anything.

Damaged the front bumper on RoZy last year pulling into a gas station. Hit a pothole at the lip and twisted the bumper. Was only doing 3mph but it cracked it pretty bad. Oh well.
Stripped it down, repaired the fibreglas and then primed, painted (two tone) and cleared it all. Did some wet sanding and now it is ready for sending off for some 3M wrap to protect it for another 10 years!

and the last few. The paint has a slight orange peel like factory but is mirror clear now.

The truly observant would have also noticed the 66 Fairlady roadster in the background of the shop too!
