He will have it buffed and polished by this weekend. I'll have him take some pics of the car with something other than his blackberry.

The sound system install starts this weekend as well.
Hertz Mille 3 way and the wicked magic box with JL sub with the JBL MS8 Loc.

I am still trying to decide what wheels to get. The more I look through the classifieds and the posted pics the harder it gets.

I definitely give props to my buddy Rob who is doin all the work. This was done part time. He has mad skills just lives in a bad market for car modification.

I'll say it again, I love those fenders . If the fitment wasn't so horrible I would buy them for my Z. What is the cutout on the front bumper for? License plate?

I like that brownish/gunmetal color you have on the bottom portion of your Z. I think it would have looked better if you painted the entire car that color, not a fan of graphics and stuff. But I'm sure you're happy with it and thats all that matters!

Keep the pictures and details of the build coming. Nice work. I had a buddy like yours where I used to live. He worked majic on my cars and treated them like they were his own. Rare finds those guys, but damn do they have passion for their work and the detail show.

It looks a bit different than what I was thinking. I am in Germany and the car is in Idaho so I let my Buddy run with it. His wife works and the paint supply store and he knows what I liked.

When I see it in person i'll make my final judgement. Paint is easy when there is no body work involved so if I need to change it I will probably do a full color swap to some sort of Blue.

yep its for the license plate. its a requirement for my state as well as in Germany.

Mods like the atmosphere to be this way!

I'll be blunt as your oldest or youngest brother. If this is 'it' as in the car's final stages then horrible! On par with the flamed out 350Z or blue blower 350Z on YouTube!

If this isn't the final stage then put my disgust on hold for the end results! A solid color, decent set of coils, and wheel/tire setup the compliments everything for a Z exponently times better than the Z here on these pages!

Good Luck with build man!

I would have personally done black to where that gun metal color is, it just doesn't flow with the white well. Might have even gone only black hood the white where it is and rest black IMO 4 colors is too much.

But give you full credit on how creative this job is and as long as you like it.

My honest opinion is that a perfectly good Z has been ruined.

Looks like quality work. I'll give it that..........
