Just agreeing with will. No news on the Z sadly. Hopefully will have the time to make it over to tony's this week and maybe snap a teaser picture on the progress..

Try having your car sitting in your garage WITH NO EXHAUST!!! :D

It's driving me nuts. I can (and have) drive it that way but it gets old fast. I know Tony is working hard and I'm still being patient.... Well, trying to be patient.

I am really looking forward to what FI has in store for their TT kit. I have a feeling it's gonna be a game changer.

TerribleONE 04-12-2012 10:33 AM

yea I have to say that would maybe kill my worse.. I bet that thing is LOUD open downpipe. Have you got any updates from Tony?

As for their TT kit, some of the ideas he shared with me had me going :happydance: Definitely going to bring some new things to the table

Yeah, it's pretty loud. Not as loud as N/A with open pipes but still too loud to drive very long.

Here is a vid I took:

Twin Turbo 370z Open Down Pipes Acceleration - YouTube

The last time I talked to Tony was a week or two ago. He told me he was close. I hope to have it by the end of the month but I'm not sure. I know he's busy and trying his best so I don't want to bug him. In the end I know that the product that I'll get is gonna be sick so I'll wait however long it takes.

Huck 04-12-2012 10:45 AM

Any specifics? Or cards to the chest for right now?

Woohoo!! Sounds awesome! One thing we know about Tony and the FI crew, it may take a while but it will be the best when they're done!

:iagree: that's why everyone is so excited to see it.

TerribleONE 04-12-2012 11:22 AM

:iagree: Considering the size of their crew, and shop they really crank things out at a good pace. IMO, its hard to beat in house builds especially when the owner is present everyday working just as hard as his employees. I cant wait to see them expand in the next year or so!

:iagree: he my favorite vendor and I will be happy to see him grow.

I am with you there! He won me over when I bought my G37 exhaust from him!

He won me over first time when he called me to "discuss my options" (I bought the exhaust during that convo) then he won me over again when I first turned the car on after installing the exhaust. :happydance:

b1adesofcha0s 04-12-2012 11:32 AM

He would have gotten me too if I didn't find such an awesome deal on this Berk exhaust I have :icon17:

I really wanted the FI, but the deal was too good to pass.

TerribleONE 04-12-2012 11:38 AM

time to switch next time a clean used F.I exhaust comes up forsale... :stirthepot:

Nah that would just be a waste of money. The Berk does have another benefit in that it's easier to hide from my parents than the FI. They would flip out if they knew how much money I've spent making my car faster. They think I've only done little visual things here and there :icon17:

TerribleONE 04-12-2012 11:52 AM

22 and I do live with my parents. It's a cultural thing more than anything else since I could have decided to live on campus. I do enjoy the benefits though because it's the only reason I got my Z in the first place.

Yeah I have no problem with it and I save tons of money, don't have to worry about cooking, laundry, etc.
