God I love that hood. Car looks great, man.

ENT-Z 11-24-2012 09:43 PM

Let me know when you get those mirrors installed. I'm interested in them but would like to see how visibility is on your car.

Jasonle 11-25-2012 09:30 AM

Will do :) it's part of my Christmas gift from my wife..so I'm excited!

MJB 11-25-2012 09:33 AM

Jasonle, how was the fitment on your hood? From the pics, it looks perfect. Paired up with your vented fenders is really going to set the car off!

Man fitment was perfect...no gaps or anything! I'm debating whether to switch up hoods tho...I was thinking the vis ams vented hood. I really like that hood too. can't decide lol...I might just end up keeping mine.

Very cool thread, and awesome taste. Hopefully I'll get to make a thread like this. Btw, how much did this project cost (after the purchase of your 370z)?

Jasonle 01-15-2013 06:21 AM

thank you! actually I'm ordering the Amuse Body Kit next week! $$$ expensive hobby that's for sure. Sometimes on the forum you will find things come up cheap from another forum member..You just got be quick on it before the vultures snatch them. or sometimes Craigslist have good things. Good luck on your search for your Z

I'm also suppose to be getting a car today...I'll keep you guys posted what that will be ;)

GaleForce 02-02-2013 08:50 AM

sfearl1 02-02-2013 09:55 AM

Nice Jason! Can't wait to see it at the meets

Did you check White Auto Body yet? They do great work.

Lmk if/when you sell your stock front bumper. If I haven't picked up another one by the time you decide to sell, I'll take it off your hands.

the problem with the stock front bumper there scratches all over the emblem area. but if I do sell I'll definitely let you know!

here's the car I told you guys that I was getting today!! It's a 1995 nonturbo Supra with 116k miles. I know it's nonturbo but I could not pass up the price I was getting it for. It's on a tow truck cause car haven't been driven for a year and a half. All tires are dry rotted flat..needs oil change..fluid needs change out..battery etc.

I'm excited tho. When I pulled it onto my drive way..My neighbor 2 kids came up to me and stared at the car :)

I should have a stock black bumper coming off in the upcoming month or so as well - let me know if you want it.

Mr&Mrs 02-03-2013 12:01 PM

Looking good Jas nice part order you have there! If you have any questions on the instal let me know. Sorry I have to say this, please, please change that front bumper on the Supra!

Jasonle 02-03-2013 12:03 PM

lol! Thanks man. I got the stock front bumper..I might change it to that and get a lip. The side skirts and rear is molded on there.

Mr&Mrs 02-03-2013 12:09 PM

I am a huge Supra fan (what car guy isnt) and love the factory lines. At most a lip kit is nice. Im happy for you though I bet you felt like such a B.A when that truck pulled up :driving:

lol!! I'll sleep in the car if that happens. Now She wants to mod her Lexus is250 too ha

kielbasa16 02-05-2013 02:14 PM

Supra looks awesome, congratulations on the purchase. Maybe going non-turbo for one with that many miles was a wise decision, fewer things with significant wear and tear.

it was my friends supra..he got it in 2003 with 60 k miles. He bought a turbo for it but never installed it and just sold it few years ago.

it has a fujii intake...hks exhaust..2 10inch jl audio subs..some aftermarket headers and ssr rims and that body kit.

Have you heard anything about the Schaefer in Webster Groves? I need a few body pieces painted and installed and I live in Webster.

Jasonle 02-09-2013 07:55 AM

I called elite custom in St. Peter's...really nice ppl. They do good body work I heard. I might end up taking everything I need installed there

Jerggy13 02-09-2013 11:59 AM

Had some work done by the Schaefer in Creve Coure after our Honda CR-V got rear ended. It looks perfect now.

Got the supra back this evening. Just passed safety inspection. I didn't know 1995 and below don't need a emission test?
