I really appreciate the parts. they matched up great. the color is spot on, you would think that the entire car was painted at the same time because it matched so well. Thanks again. rep points coming your way.

Naenyn 09-23-2012 05:21 PM

I really like the red/black CF interior. I think I might have to do that once I get my Nismo. Some nice parts on your mod list.. I have a feeling I'll be following in your footsteps...

Unexpectedfar 09-23-2012 05:23 PM

hod did you debadge the front bumper?

the front bumper already comes flat. so no debadging required.

sfearl1 09-23-2012 05:29 PM

Are you lowering it any? Kit looks great

have not decided on what to do as of yet. I did have h&r springs on it but would scrape everywhere I went. I may go with a airbag setup to be able to drive at a stock height daily and then lower it down for track days/shows.

the steering wheel is from carbon fiber element but I am not sure which it is since they have so many new options since I got mine. the rest came from carbon signal but luckly it all matched. looking at their website it looks like the red carbon fiber with kevlar.

Came out great kelly! I got super sick over the day Saturday and was first in line at a walk in clinic Sunday morning. I wanted to come see the beast so bad. I hope to make it to the wire grass show coming up to see everyone.

RCZ 09-24-2012 05:22 PM

WOW...I once pictured my car to look like this in my mind haha. Nicely done man...looks AMAZING. Let me know if you're down in Miami for any reason I want to check out this beast.

thanks RCZ, i have the car running right and looking good. BTW I had the car retuned since I was having problems. they did the initial pull and made 397 so very close to the original numbers from there in WPB. after playing around with the fuel mix and changing just about everything to include fixing the detonation on the top end I ended making 432 and the car runs so much better. I dont know when I will be down there but when I do I will let you know.

What extra parts did you need to install the Sensor for the Oil Temp gauge?

Jasonle 09-30-2012 08:53 PM

I am not sure what you are asking. the prosport guages had all of the equiptment needed for the install. Just had to lengthen the wires to fit where I wanted it to be.

GaleForce 09-30-2012 09:29 PM

Specifically the sending unit. I know for the Oil pressure sending unit you need a "T" fitting so you can use the factory sending unit with the new sending unit. I was wondering if you needed something like that for the oil temp gauge/sending unit.

You went there and didn't like?? hehe Thanks for checking it out. Its my baby and one day you will use it as a verb :tiphat:. We are doing a giveaway in October, probably of a nice gift card to a forum sponsor, all you have to do to enter is like us on facebook. I'll be announcing it sometime this week officially. Can't say much more until I opt to be a forum sponsor, I feel like i'm already being unfair to those who pay money to advertise here, but rest assured I will be a forum sponsor soon, assuming AK allows it.

Love the car, I think its tastefully done and I know you're a good guy so its a good match for us. Plus it will save me a ton of money having to mod our own show car ;)

I have a 34 row oil cooler with a Thermostatic plate that has an area to hook up the sending unit so I did not have to use a T fitting.
