^^ it was actually something i hit on the freeway one night, till this day i dont know what it was cuz i just kept on going. Luckily the tire was still holding air.

I sent the wheels to FastForward Wheels and the shop had a fire that melted my wheels. I'm waiting for my new wheels to get here from SSR in Japan.

Yeah, I remember reading that thread. That was really something you had to go through just to get new wheels haha. Good luck! Hopefully you get your wheels ASAP. Lookin' good.

TypeOne 10-20-2011 01:55 PM

Oh no!!!!!!

I LOVE the wheels on your car... but that is the reason why I didn't get a stepped lip rim. They would certainly get destroyed around here.

haitech 10-20-2011 02:50 PM

lookin good man.

how was the ride difference going from the rays to 20's?

Juruki 10-20-2011 02:55 PM

Thx!

The only difference that I felt is a harsher ride with the 20's

Juruki 10-20-2011 02:58 PM

@ Amplified Motorsports waiting for an oil change and mounting my new wheels. I couldn't wait for my SSR's :P

Lol shouldn't laugh at that though

You got the sa55m's?

Juruki 10-20-2011 05:17 PM

repair shop had a small fire, never saw any pics of the melted wheels.
Lou is getting me two new passenger side wheels. Im gonna sell them when i get the full set.

Wheels are WedsSports SA-55m and I got the from a member of this forum but he drives a G35

BioRage 10-20-2011 05:20 PM

Thats unfortunate on the bent rim!

However, your car still looks amazing,

And so does your Garage!

Juruki 10-20-2011 05:41 PM

So i just got back from Amplified and my 20mm bolt on spacer wouldnt clear and i had to use my 25mm spacer. My rear wheel now is 19x10.5 -10 :ugh:
I need to get an alignment and add some camber ASAP cuz my wheel is seriously poking lol

hdskull 10-20-2011 06:18 PM

Juruki 10-20-2011 07:00 PM

Can you explain why a 25mm would clear when a 20mm wouldn't? I'm just curious. Looks very good btw.

Did you feel the 20s slowing the car down?

m4a1mustang 10-20-2011 08:58 PM

Your car looks amazing, man. Absolutely love it!

:icon17: LOL I wish! I think I'm somewhere in line, but definitely behind some people.. haha

haitech 10-21-2011 03:11 AM

are you going to black out the chrome?

just pondering but why add spacers and have them poke out or run camber when you can just not use spacers? idk

Boost_lee 10-21-2011 04:10 AM

that looks awesome with the wedsports

I have extended studs on my car cuz i was running spacers with my stock wheels. The studs were sticking out past the 20mm spacers and wouldnt let the wheel sit flush

What chrome? You mean the door handles? Dont think im gonna be blacking out anything else in the car.

I add spacers cuz I like an agressive fitment with a little camber. Nothing too extreme thou... I think a 15mm would have been perfect but I already have the 20/25mm i was using with the stock wheels.
I kinda like how fat my car looks now :p

Getting an alignment tomorrow

ilive2win 10-21-2011 12:01 PM

I like those a lot. I'm thinking about getting them for the sti or the sa60m's or maybe some more sl's lol. I can't make up my mind

haitech 10-21-2011 03:51 PM

yummm :yum:

yeah that's understandable.

Juruki 10-24-2011 11:04 AM

Had a busy weekend! I changed my front tires to a taller sidewall (from a 245/35/19 to a 245/40/19), looks much better now. I didnt have any wheels to leave on the car while i went to the tire shop cuz my stocks were at Amplified, so i had to use my spare and one of my SSR's :D

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/3f1eefa2.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/3623d73f.jpg

Oh btw, my spare only had 25 psi when its supposed to be at 60psi... :shakes head:
Check your spare tire pressure!

chris90 10-24-2011 11:18 AM

car looks great. so since you have a new set of wheels. what are you doing with the 3 ssr sp3's you have

Juruki 10-24-2011 11:31 AM

^^ Thx. I actually have only 2 cuz i bent both passanger side wheels. Im getting the other 2 pretty soon and plan to sell them when i get the full set.

ilive2win 10-24-2011 11:35 AM

I actually like the wessports better. Might be the color or maybe just because it's different from what you had before but they look really good

Juruki 10-24-2011 11:41 AM

I like the Weds too :p

How my car sits now:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/6b4263dd.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/3d12d206.jpg

Changing to a 245/40 raised the front of the car quite a bit and im not scraping my exhaust that much anymore but I am rubbing against the fender now. I have an appointment with DTM Autobody to roll my fenders this week.

thetaste 10-24-2011 12:13 PM

Car looks great.
Any plans to slightly tint the tail lights?

ilive2win 10-24-2011 12:14 PM

I'm really thinking about getting these for the sti. These look awsome

TypeOne 10-24-2011 04:23 PM

I LOVE the SSRs but boy o boy do I love my Weds!

The car looks great!

haitech 10-24-2011 06:00 PM

Not for now... I recently got a tint and no front license ticket. Dont want any more attention from the cops.

What color is your STI? I think these would look good on a STI
