Pics of my Nismo - Help me decide if the stripes stay or go!!
 

Don't have proper pics yet but here are some crappy ones from my ipad that I posted in the new nismo owner section.

I just bought the car this past weekend. I know for fact I will be getting rid of the "nismo" and "s-tune" stickers just under the sideview mirrors. However I'm not sure I I feel about the stripes.I have been getting some mixed opinions. Some people love them and others say it looks rice.

Idk what to do! I was thinking in the future if I get the wheels powercoated black and get the time attack style red around the edge of the rim it would match nicely with the red stripe, but I can't decide. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated

I would get rid of the stickers and the stripes along the doors, however I do kind of like the two stripes on the hood.

I also like the hood but the sides not as much.. not to take away from your post take a look at my sticker I came up with for my nismo. It's the only one like it.. I had my friend make it for me.. maybe you could come up with one that you liked more then the stripes.. good luck with your choice..

I actually like them, and its very unique. And its actually real Nismo stickers too. Go fiqure.

The design is good, but the color choice is lame... So if I were you, I would redo the stripes or take all of them off.

Ok thanks everyone, I am convinced. The stripes will go.

Now here is the only dilemma: the car has a clear bra on the front and it looks like the previous owner had it cut to fit around the sticker on the hood. Would it look too terrible if I left the hood sticker on and just took off the rest?

If you wanna keep the clear bar, which is good to keep, then just overlay some other color stripes on the top of the ones you have now.

i would keep the stripes! i like em and they're quite unique!

What other colors do you suggest? And is it true that if I keep the sticker on there too long it will screw up the clear coat?

Leave the stickers, remove headlight tint..

Leave the hood stickers or all. I don't care for the decal below the mirrors. The rest is fine and I would have no problem with them on my car.

You could also remove them all and get a Carbon Fiber hood. There-fixeditforya

I say add some flying silver swords to the door and possibly a coca-cola sticker or other soft drink company ...

Kinda like it for some reason...

I think what you like is the nice body style, rims and overall awesomeness of the Z. Even stupid stickers can't bring this awesome car down too many notches, thus your feeling of "liking it" is just a less powerful version of, "I love this Z" (w/out the stickers of course!)

Nah, to each is own man. They don't look awful, I just think this Z would look so sexy in all black with no stickers to detract from it.

It is done. I took off the stickers on the side today. It looks much cleaner now. I left the the one on the hood because I did not want to mess up the clear bra, but I think it looks kinda nice with it one there anyway. Here are some pics:

I love the hood ones. I thought they were supposed to be 3 stripes. Is there a black stripe in the middle?

Yeah it's just not showing in the pic. Not too visible irl either but it still looks nice IMO

Will def be better without the sides ones, hood ones are actually not bad imo. If you like it keep it, if not then you know what to do, your car. Nice ride

I would say they need to go. Also, I would not powder coat the wheels black. Just my opinion.
