I just got 5 more photos from the folks who are currently auctioning off my old Yellow 370Z. His name is Peter Bulba.

His comments to me in the email:

here are the pics of your previous car . its a shame but oh well things happen i wish i could restore this one but man its banged up a little to much for me i mean i fixed dozens of 350zs and g35s but this is my first 370Z what would you say about comparison to the 350Z like driving wise?

I really can't answer his question since this is my first Z. I'd happily respond to him if anyone has any imput they'd like me to pass along.;)

Small World

Funny story, I just traded in my orange 350 for a blue 370 today but yesterday I was at Passport in Alexandria and Mr. Austin (the salesman) was tellin me about this kid who bought a 370 from them, wrecked it and came to get another. I told him thass just greedy, he already had one. Come to find out it was you. Just want everyone to know that this guy wanted to drive his new Z so bad, he went with the AT on the new one, cause he couldn't drive the MT with his foot (according to the salesman). See you on the road man.

Haha...cool! And I have a feeling I know who the salesman is. I think he's the one who put my plates on my car yesterday. I told him the story and I think he thought the old one was a manual but it, too, was automatic. I think he misunderstood when I said thankfully this one is automatic otherwise I wouldn't be behind a new Z so soon.

How the hell do you manage that before the engine break in is over!?!? God gave you a second chance to get that bad boy w/ a manual and you still didnt, lol. Love the blue w/ persimmon though! It was a toss up between the yellow and blue for me. I think i like the yellow a little better but I HAD to have the persimmon.

Where are you in NorthVA? As i am currently looking into getting a Z, maybe you had a good location to get a deal. I saw Alexandria on the plate cover and I am not far from there.

I think I was supposed to have your blue Z but my local dealership wasn't able to nagotiate a transfer with yours in Alexandria. They got mine from Philly instead.

From your story, it sounds like yellow Z might have been bad luck.

Well, here's my first "upgrade"....it's all I can afford at the moment. I purchased the matching color front mats and rear trunk mat from The Z Store. Looks pretty good, IMO:

Well you got my first and second choice color combinations. I ended up with yellow, my first choice. I hope I have better luck with it. Glad you're okay, for the most part, and good to see you got a good deal on the car.

Thanks on the interior....I love the color combo. And its been just over 6 years on the hair. You can see the transformation from brown to grey! (Almost makes me want to dye it) :icon17:

That's commitment! Are you in a band? I ask due to the hair and the rock on comment.
