congrats on the sweet ride! I love the stance. I'm shooting for a similar ride height with my coilovers. I don't see mention of rear camber arms in your sig so I'm assuming your running some pretty negative camber? Have you had an alignment done since the coilover install?

Yes, I did.....here's the report:

I think thats a lot of negative camber @-4deg in the back...you may want to look into some camber arms to get that back into spec unless you want to eat through those tires in a hurry. Maybe Im not reading that report right but it seems they made adjustments in the wrong direction? Your final camber is more negative than your initial??

I sure hope not....I currently don't have the RE-11's on the car due to the lovely weather we're having.....20 plus inches of snow headed my way this weekend.....:ugh2:.....anyways, when I looked at the RE-11's they appeared to still look pretty good and not worn down much. I only did about 3,000 miles on them. I sure hope I can use them again this coming Spring/Summer.

Yeah that's a lot of negative rear camber. You should check your rears and see how much tire wear you've got. I wouldn't worry about rear camber If you've got a lot of miles since your drop and very little Tire wear.

jmlenz 02-04-2010 03:40 PM

the specifications in the page you posted are using the specs from an '07 350z, not sure how much it varies to the 370 but either way your running too much neg camber front and rear (especially rear) for street use. Just my .02

Had to raise The Smurf......too much tire rub happening on the two front tires. I'm guessing it happened because I went back to the stock tires and rims during winter and just put the Volk's and RE-11's back on about 2 weeks ago.

The "original" first setup with the Volk's & RE-11's:

http://www.the370z.com/members/2thee...y-2009-007.jpg

And now, after the raise just yesterday:

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...%20Rub/009.jpg
http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...%20Rub/003.jpg

And yes, PTuning adjusted the rear camber. It was -4.1....adjusted now to -3.5. I have a rear camber kit coming so I can adjust the camber more. I should have the rear camber kit installed within one to two weeks.
