Thanks for the invite to post I LOVE THIS THREAD
hows this look for how to keep the car nailed down with some sexy functonal aero? ![]() Note the "sub sacrificial splitter " (white) bonded to the carbon honeycomb one. the bolts you see are bolted directly to a subframe we built which is bolted to the chassis. You will need to drill and tap 4 holes in the bumper beam and 2 in the front aluminium core support subframe..easy mods if you know how to use a power drill ;-) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On the "square setup" if you do it right it can be very forgiving...we were the only 370 with the throttle pinned through 1&2 at AAA speedway...(at least the other 370's said they were needing to "breath" the throttle a bit) We had the least WHP and the most Aero (= drag) so this might have been why I could be so "brave" in 1&2 (but as a chassis setup shop I want to believe it was due to the superior setup!) as we were the slowest entry speed of the 4 370's (but the fastest exit speed) got to love cheap radar speed detectors.
