All, I have a set of Hoosier 100 series race slicks on order... going to fit them to my 10" front and 11" rear wheels and see if I can turn a really fast time at PIR... fingers crossed!

Hey, take a look at this google maps... is that a racetrack? should I buy it??? Did I mention that I'm moving to Florida? 14567 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL, 34240 - Google Maps This property sits on 55 acres and Zillow says the price is within reason... hmmm http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/u...avisjb/lot.jpg |

Cville's great. 3 months away from finishing up at UVA, but staying down here to keep working after. Wahoowa! |

upon closer inspection, you're prob right... the 55 acres for that particular house extends west - does not encompass the 'race track'... darnit!!! going to need another dozen racers to buy up the whole thing! lol |
That's an odd looking development. Looks like it was built years ago but only one house ever got built off it.
Just buy the 55 acre property to the west and we'll rent some earth moving equipment and build you a race track. Paving is going to be expensive though. |

All, just posted today's vid here http://www.the370z.com/track-autocro...tml#post928679 Inching ever closer to the elusive 104 target... tomorrow will shoot for a 1:07.5... Would need FI to fully close the gap - there's no question I am approaching the limit of what this car can give with stock powertrain... car is now 3,150 roughly with driver and half full gas |
Now that I have my setup issue largely worked out... and ABS is back (had a sensor that was dislodged)! the F3R pads feel much better... and going through all that I think made me a better driver- more sensitive to the thresholds of braking on this car. I still think that for an extremely short track like FIR East where there is a lot of intense braking with brake zone bumps etc, having a pad with better feel would help... but at PIR and Chuckwalla, the F3R is proving to be very effective... just thought I'd drop that quick note... off to the track! :)
