That is exactly what I was doing, it was nerve wracking since one wrong move will bring the breaker bar down on the engine or the fender haha. Gotta love a shiny FI exhaust, it definitely fits into the nismo bumper much better than most in my opinion.

Awesome looking car and progress!

Do you have an amp? and how much did the roof cost you?

birdmanx1 05-20-2011 05:33 PM

haha Christian, it is nerve wracking indeed, props to you for doing it yourself. Rarwz was in the background praying for nothing to break in the event of a fall :)

hdskull, thanks for the kind words, it is turning out well so far and I'm pretty satisfied. I have an alpine amp (MRP M500) Great quality and value. As far as the roof goes, plan somewhere between $700 - $1000 depending on how fancy you want to get (for instance having Z appear under sunlight reflection, other light tricks...)

If you look up blue batmobile here on the forum, he sells a precut vinyl overlay for the roof if you want a less expensive option.

b1adesofcha0s 05-20-2011 05:48 PM

Oh man I just got a great idea for a video of your new exhaust! Start out with that pic I have of your car in my side mirror. Then you fly by me so I get the sound of you coming towards me and going away from me. What do you think?

hay birdman i am wondering how much for the installation for the spring, spacer and camber???? And would you mind to tell me how long does it take for the installation, too? Thanks!

birdmanx1 07-02-2011 08:31 PM

Sure thing man, here is what the breakdown of costs may look like - please keep in mind that labor costs may vary from shop to shop:
** Springs: $100 (1 - 1.5h)
** Spacers: $150 (H&R DRS (1 - 1.5hr)
** Camber: $150 (1 - 1.5h)

I will be wary of any estimate that greatly varies from those numbers though.

I hope that helps Nizmo ;)
