With our poor shoulder checking visibility, we should have gullwing doors.

And funny that the gallardo doesn't have lambo doors at all... and from what I heard the new Murc replacement will do away with the lambo doors as well.

My fav doors now is the Aston Martin's....simple, unique, elegant, subtle.

Yeah, I know the Countach had a nice ledge to sit on when you back up. ha ha. I was choked to find out the Gallardo didn't have Lambo doors. But I guess, they're moving away from that.

I'm not familiar with Aston Martin's doors...I guess I'll have to do a little research.

I love Aston's door mechanisms.

Thanks again Ryan for all your help with advice on the rear diffuser!!!

Unfortunately I didn't follow it and just used window silicone :icon18:, but it's on like a rock!

Once you get the TT setup done, you will want to JB weld yourself to the seat and never stop driving!

Lambo only has the scissor doors on their 12 cyl cars. Gallardo is <12.

Just drove home from the movies and dinner with the gf. It's drizzling out with barely any cars on the road. Decided to have some "fun". Wow I missed the RWD...drifting through corners, clutch slips at take off, correcting when the car breaks loose at high rpms, etc.....

And I still catch myself parking the Z, locking it and walking away, and turning around for a second look. Never did that with the GTR...just lock and go. I find girls like the Z's better as well and guys like the GTR.

So THAT is why you got rid of the GTR...you were only pulling in the guys. :stirthepot:

I agree about missing RWD, but I kept picking up girls with the GTR. LOL

Looking for a cf hood.....not many selections right now hey? Anyone know of anything new coming out? I like it aggressive...

Spec Jay 01-17-2011 10:32 PM

only one off the top of my head to keep with the quality of parts you have would be a top secret.

Nitrouz 01-17-2011 10:46 PM

I think the "curved" vents on the TS is ugly......and fitment is hit and miss with Top Secret.

I bought the 350z genuine Top Secret cf hood before, as my 3rd or 4th cf hood on the 350z. The fitment was horrendous. Contacted them but due to the overseas and customer service issues, I decided to just buy something else instead.

Had to learn the hard way - Just because it's JDM and expensive ($2k), doesn't mean it'll fit. lol...

Haha, but really...I only know of the TS style hood and the GTR style hood with the 2 small vents.

Nitrouz 01-17-2011 11:12 PM

I like the TS, but still too subtle...I need about 26+ vents. :D

ah i see, well i dont have actual experience with them so something from seibon seems like your only choice left. haha

I went through 3 Seibon hoods and a Veilside hood as well, but still hit and miss with fitment...with Veilside, it's always "miss" though. lol...

I'll just wait for something more aggressive. I like the Amuse vented hood on the 350z's...and the only thing close to that is Carbon Creations. But heard many horror stories on them...

Guess I'll just have to wait until Summer to see what all the manufacturers have been cooking up this winter.

It's true though, our GTRs were chick magnets, lesbos, straight, didn't matter, they were a panty dropper. The Z, not so much...

Had a girl walk away from her boyfriend and leave him staring enviously as she crossed the street to come talk to me and Juno about our GTR. The look on her dude's face was priceless. :happydance:

I will say the white one got more attention than the silver one did.

Meh, here, girls don't care. Well I've had 1 girl flash me and yell "nice car", but that was it. No more boobies from there on. Only dudes staring at the car either like a hot chick's a** (which made me uncomfortable), or like you owe them a million dollars.

Maybe this weekend when I get the exhaust and test pipes on... but I'm waiting for my kit and wheels to do a REAL photoshoot... Right now it still looks stock, just lower. Nothing really to see.

Yeah, we got alot of the "negative" attention like you mentioned above too, but I think that goes w/any "nice and sporty" car you'd drive.

Nitrouz 01-18-2011 06:26 PM

yeah but I guess it has its perks to be able to smoke pretty much anything on the street... My gf was driving her Z3 home one night, and there was a Gallardo showing off and cutting her and a bunch of people off. She came home upset that she wasn't in the GTR lol...

FL 4Motion 01-18-2011 06:34 PM

Ha, that's funny.

Are we ever done?

I'm not a huge fan of the Amuse kit. The Z34 is still young. Hopefully there will be some more body pieces coming out for it this year.
