I just wondering what is the size of your rims and tires?

ClemsonWill 04-04-2011 05:54 PM

They are the standard TE size. 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12 w/ 265/35 and 305/30 RE-11s. They fit great!

Thanks man. I paid for it though. Had a choice between an 09 PW with all the same options for around $5k less. But I wanted black. Plus the 09 had 600 miles of people test driving it and my 10 had 8 miles.

What you want to trade to me your TE-37's for my 20inch GT-30's.

I'm down.....

ClemsonWill 04-05-2011 07:45 PM

Here are some pictures of the intakes. I have some pictures of the install but battery died before I could download them.

Sorry guys. Tried to get the dyno done yesterday but my buddy was extremely busy with his other projects. Its going to be a couple of weeks. I'm out of town next week.

docaam 04-14-2011 10:52 AM

So I guess gotta wait for the excitement

Red__Zed 04-14-2011 11:47 AM

ClemsonWill 04-14-2011 01:18 PM

Sorry guys. I'm working on it.

KaienZ34 04-14-2011 04:43 PM

It's cool, sometimes life, happens to get in the way of the stuff we want to do.

ClemsonWill 04-15-2011 04:09 PM

Just had to post in here because this is my 4,444 post. Historic moment.

Yeah, life has it's moments.

KaienZ34 04-15-2011 11:12 PM

Rock on bro...

ClemsonWill 04-27-2011 06:37 PM

Ok, still no dyno. Probably not going to happen before I get the LTH installed. My buddy's shop is so backlogged with work. But on a positive note I made some progress on wrapping the LTH. One is done and started the second.

Why would the wrap make you itch?

The wrap is made of fiber glass. It's like sticking your hand in home insulation if you have ever done that.

SPOHN 04-28-2011 09:55 AM

How much footage did you have to use? I bet alot.

75' would do it but I bought 100'.

ClemsonWill 05-05-2011 02:29 PM

Note to self.........When people tell you that a DYI is really tough then maybe you should listen to them.

I have started the header install. Getting the cats off was not bad. Heat sheilds were not bad. Passenger side LTH was not bad. Getting the Driver side header off is a beotch!

Just taking my time. Hopefully she will be back on the road next week.

HALF WAY TO ELITE! 5000 posts!

HKYStormFront 05-05-2011 03:06 PM

yea headers on most modern cars so a real PITA now because engine bays are so much tighter than they used to be.

*redneck swag voice* when dad and i put LTH's on his 69 camaro, it took us about 45 mins with an air wrench. i just crawled up in the engine bay and he slid under the car on a creeper and we knocked it out, it was gravy... */redneck swag voice*

the ones for my truck are incredibly hard due to steering and brake hardware in the way. according to the instructions, the first step is to pull the motor... not kidding :\

KaienZ34 05-05-2011 04:43 PM

Pull the motor... F that chit!!

 Yeah, f*** that. Too much work for headers.

Update: Headers are on the car. Lost one of the header nuts somewhere in the engine bay. It was pretty late and I was exhausted so I gave up. Hopefully after a couple of days of rest it will show up. If not I guess I will be heading to the dealership to buy another one.
