Thanks Gootz. This car is something I have always wanted to do. Next stage will be the S/C and supporting mods.

Taking the Z to the mountains this weekend. I'm excited!

ClemsonWill 11-17-2010 08:24 AM

So I started keeping a log of everything I do to the Z. Here is what I have so far:

2010 Nissan 370Z
Date Action Mileage
7/30/2010 Purchased the 370Z 9
9/10/2010 Custom headlights installed 341
9/26/2010 Installed FI Exhaust (already had 300 miles on it) 835
10/21/2010 Hit 1200 miles (first time over 4k RPM) 1200
10/24/2010 Installed Volk TE-37s with RE-11 tires 1217
" Changed oil with K&N filter and Mobil 1 1217
11/14/2010 Removed Volk wheels to replace with stock 1991

Any suggestions for what else I should keep track of?

But they are quality miles. I have enjoyed every second!

And my XM still hasn't cut off. The 3 months free has been over for several weeks. I wonder if I'm going to get a bill for it.

Matt (nurseryboy) came over today so we could install his Eibach lowering springs and H&R (15mm F and 20mm R) spacers with extended studs. Car look so much better after the install.

Now I just need to install my springs

Great pics! Thanks so much for your help too!

I can't wait to see your car with the H&R springs and your Volk wheels back on ;)

Matthew 11-20-2010 10:01 PM

Hey Will, do you know if the lowering spring affect the tread life of your tires. And the car looks bad a$$. Wish we could have taken a drive when u where up here. Took my car up to the mtns after the intake install.

Lowering springs will affect the tread if you can not get the camber back in factory specs. Really just depends on which springs you get and whether you get the camber kit too. If you are thinking about getting some give me a call and I will give you my 2 cents.

Yeah, I wish we had gotten the chance to go out for a mountain drive. I bet the leaves are gorgeous right now. Oh well maybe in the late spring I will be able to make it back up there.
