What are your tire specs? Looks pretty meaty and I like it! My buddy Spec Jay told me to check out your posts

On the pics you quoted I was running 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 on 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 wheels.

On the black Volks, I'm currently running 275/35/19 and 305/30/19 on 19x9.5 and 19x10.5.

Does the 275 rub on the front?

Boost_lee 08-27-2014 10:18 PM

Sorry, just saw this.
I'm only getting some rub on the passenger side on hard bumps. I need to take a closer look at the fender liner tabs

Gorgeous Z!! what did you do to color match your lug nuts with your brakes?

Boost_lee 08-31-2014 12:11 PM

Thanks. I had them powdercoated as well. They will eventually chip off after several torquing sessions though

6MT-Z34 08-31-2014 06:02 PM

Thanks! What did they charge for powder coating them? And was it Mike? Lol

Boost_lee 09-01-2014 05:16 PM

It was Mike, please get with him for pricing

Lee I have a question, whenever I think about modding my car yours comes to mind as an idea haha I love it.
I was planning on picking up side blades and I can get a great deal on te Aerojacket side blades from a guy local to me.
Are there any big differences between the evo-r and aerojacket sideblades? Aesthetically and fitment quality? I honestly can't tell with pics and I've never seen either set in person.
Thanks man

Boost_lee 10-18-2014 07:29 PM

Thanks!
Honestly, I have not seen the Aerojacket side blades in person either. I'm sure they would mount and fit the same as the EVO-R ones. The Aerojacket wing that I have on the car is a perfect fit, and those blades are much easier to make/mount.

I think some of the early versions (Aerojacket) tapered towards the front of the car, but the ones that I have seen lately are the same as EVO-R.
Here's a pic of the taper that I'm referring to. Basically the front doesn't stick out like the rear does.

If they look like this, then they will evenly stick out like mine do:

Hope that helps

I would run the aerojacket ones if you have the mudflaps. Evo r otherwise

Shawa 10-18-2014 10:54 PM

thanks a lot lee! I'm going to take a look at them tomorrow.
And thanks for the advice Jay, not sure which version aerojacket side blades they are but it's a great deal for a new set and I don't have mudflaps.
so I'm going to check to see how they'd look and the fitment quality tomorrow
