Got my custom plates for the car. (seen below)

Installed the retractable front plate (Show-N-Go) in the grill area. Also posted up a DIY for this install.

Frame fan be found on Ebay or other online stores. Its a universal kit, I wrote a diy on my install, its similar to lee's but slightly more involved.

Also I have it linked in my diy but here is lee's diy too

blue line is 4th gear pull
red line is 5th gear pull
Not thrilled with my numbers but I had fun. I'm wondering if my Cobb canned Nismo map is robbing any power. I'll probably be going back for some additional runs in the near future ;)

Oh and don't mind the new engine bay look :happydance:

do you have stock numbers?

Don't worry about numbers if you don't have a baseline to bounce it against!

Ron 02-22-2012 02:15 PM

what did you do to the strut bar?

simota1 02-22-2012 02:48 PM

hey bro quick question.... for the motordyne can you reinstall the stock engine cover?

yep the stock cover can be used

Boost_lee 02-22-2012 07:35 PM

Yes, stock engine cover bolts on fine

I hand polished the strut bar :icon14: It's not prefect, but I like it more than stock

Unfortunately no base numbers, but thats ok

simota1 02-23-2012 03:35 AM

so wouldnt the strut bar rust since its metal? or you clear coated it

Boost_lee 02-23-2012 04:26 AM

I was planning on getting it powdercoated down the line and I did the hand polishing just before a meet.
I'll probably throw some clear on it since the local place doesn't offer the color powder I want. I just don't want it to dull or yellow the finish with the engine heat.
