I they made the Nismo in Blue, I would have definitely bought one. TjLazer's looks so good.
But I would love to change wheels as often as you do :D

Now I think the car needs a Mine's/UAM spoiler :stirthepot:

Kingbaby 10-26-2011 02:22 AM

lol at the chopped car...

I like it more now than Op's current car lol

coilovers

Boost_lee 10-30-2011 11:22 PM

removed the front 5mm spacer and went down from a 25mm to a 20mm in the rear. I'm much happier with the fitment now

If I go with a wider tire, I'll go down to a 15mm rear spacer too.

three random pics
(still with the 5/25 spacers)

Looks sooooo good! I don't know why I haven't checked your page in a while, this thing has had an entire makeover since I saw it last. Killer stuff. I just got new wheels on mine too! And at only $800 wheels and tires I'm ballin on a budget just like you! I ended up selling my rays for more than $800 so I made money lol

All the more reason for both of us to get coils I guess :roflpuke2:

Boost_lee 11-02-2011 12:18 AM

thanks

yea coils cross my mind and wallet everyday now :/

sfearl1 11-02-2011 03:15 PM

how much heavier are the new wheels vs. the stock rays? is there any significant difference in handling?

Very nice man, I would def paint the fangs black. It will look sick trust me. maybe plastidip them and see how you like it.

Looking beautiful....went under quite the transformation recently

Question: those Evo R Sides, I just picked up the Shine Auto version in CF...to you feel it lowers the car much on the sides...or not really noticable? I'm hoping not that noticable lol

Again, looks beautiful, great job!

Haven't pushed the car, but I can feel that they are a little heavier. I think I weighed these in at a tad over 26lbs  But I didn't pick these wheels with any performance in mind. Thats why I'm probably going to keep the stocks

Thanks, but I live my fangs. I've had a front overlay for the fangs since I bought the car and could never put it on. I just like them too much. Now shaving the nissan emblem, yes. Sometime in the future

Thanks, the blades lose an inch tops to the overall ground clearance of the sides. The Shine auto version is a complete replacement sideskirt, isn't it? I didn't know they made just a side blade.

Thanks for the kind words

Still debating on coilovers to get the stance right...sigh. I would like the look, but I do enjoy the clearance I have now

sfearl1 11-03-2011 02:09 AM

I think the drop you have now is good. Did you have to do any fender work to make those fit?
