Just went through your build awesomeness all the way through! Love the headlights I'm very intimidated to do this myself, great build!

I went with just a slightly less green than yours so I wouldn't directly copy :p

happytheman 04-14-2013 10:33 PM

Looks awesome man! :)

The color just pops!

iceman21_23 04-14-2013 10:44 PM

Looked awesome today at nismo fiesta sucks you couldn't have been there

Boost_lee 04-15-2013 01:27 AM

Thanks a lot bro, I wish i could have been there
Your car is looking great also!

mantella87 04-15-2013 09:52 PM

Boost, I can't say it enough. Your car is on another level. I like everything you've done to it. I just ordered my INGS+1 lip. I have the Stillen lip on right now, but like you I am experiencing the deformation in the center. Thanks for the high quality and abundant pictures in this journal to help me make the decision!

Boost_lee 04-16-2013 12:22 AM

you're too kind :) np, that's what these member galleries are for

KyleBucket 04-20-2013 09:29 PM

Just came across this from the "Best Shot" thread - what a great combo. Usually, I prefer blue on white (while blue on black looks great on these cars)...but that lime sets it off. Perfect amount of black touches, perfect amount of the curveball color too. Nice work.

Boost_lee 04-21-2013 03:11 AM

Thanks :)

I had white wheels for a while, but I felt that the calipers would have put it over the top if I kept the white

Totally agree. I ran through this thread and saw it. The route you stuck with is so much better. I like the clean, subtle touches...I've always been that way, so I can easily respect your car for the little things.

Dzel 04-29-2013 08:44 PM

I just voted for your car to be the next one featured on the Cupcake meet flier! Here's the link https://m.facebook.com/CCMeet?id=130086026962&_rdr

Boost_lee 04-30-2013 01:45 AM

nice man...on both of your rides

sfearl1 01-24-2014 02:43 PM

Yeahhh! Nice man.. looks great. How's it ride? Think I'm ordering some fiberglass fenders and bedsides for mine soon

Boost_lee 01-25-2014 09:47 AM

Thanks guys

The spacer lift rides a little tighter than stock, but it feels better to me. The AAL is a bit harsher over sudden bumps, but its not too bad.
I blame you for this splurge of money, Sfearl1 :icon17:

I thought about fenders too, just to tame down the offset of these wheels, but I wish there were some decent fender flares. Not really feeling the bushwhackers...

I really wish I had a 4x4 though. I even debated on getting a rear locker so I could try some wheeling

Fantastic Z 01-29-2014 05:45 PM

I must have spent the last 3-4hrs reading through your build thread. I can honestly say that I do not feel as if that time was wasted. VERY clean Lee! You're coming up on 4yrs of ownership and modded at a decent rate. That makes me feel better knowing that MY mods/endgame will take just about as long haha

Glad that you have kept the Z after reading through this

gumi4680 01-29-2014 08:39 PM

Car looks so sick! I am loving the MB color!

Boost_lee 01-30-2014 10:58 PM

Thanks guys. I went pretty mod heavy at the beginning, but came to a halt once I saw it was time to pay it off.
We'll see what happens in the future, I really only drive this thing twice a month now :(

Boost_lee 01-30-2014 11:16 PM

Forgot to post this here, but for the last few months of the year I had focused on getting my Honda Accord running again. I ended up rebuilding the engine myself (first time) and got it retuned on a GT3076R (.63 AR) with some Q16 racegas. Put down 420whp/375wtq. Keep in mind, this is an F22 SOHC non-vtec with a stock head, an engine that makes about 115whp stock.

My tuner ran out of map sensor, so we stopped at 27.5psi. I feel that the turbo size was holding it back, but numbers are numbers. I was really aiming for track times, as there has yet to be a CB7 Accord in the 10's.

I went out to my first event (cold day in Dec) and put down a 11.68 @ 127 and an 11.7 @ 129. After talking with the tuner, he said I could get this thing in the 10's with some tweaks and some seat time. That'll be my goal for this first half of the year, then I can finally part ways with this car. Hopefully I can do it without going for more power. Here are 2 clips of the 11.6 run

Oh, and the Genesis staged the lights with his rear tires, so he already had a head start :icon17:

aww only twice a month, thats sad :( Hopefully you get more seat time in it.

I do remember you posting about your Accord before though, thats amazing numbers and the potential to get 10's with some tweaks must be exciting!

Boost_lee 03-26-2014 12:19 AM

Not a good day for the daily :(

Not sure how I should handle it through their insurance. hard to tell if the bumper mounts were bent during the hit

shaun66 03-26-2014 12:35 AM

Bummer about the accident! Funny that your accord is faster than the Z, but looks slower! (thats a compliment BTW all your rides are really cool!)

Mr&Mrs 03-26-2014 03:31 AM

They are more than likely bent. When my truck got hit I purchased all the parts myself then used a sledge hammer to beat the brackets back straight. Was able to pocket around 700.00 all said and done.

carlitos_370z 03-26-2014 06:33 AM

your Z looks perfect dude!!!

Boost_lee 03-30-2014 11:57 PM
