Soooo...............today Kelly came over to help me fit the other fender, hood, and front bumper. He was so kind enough to bring his headlights over because mine are at 180 Customs right now, and without them we would have been dead in the water.

We got all the mock up done today I just have 100 little things to do before the final fitment. Drill holes for fender wells, run wire for new blinder locations, etc, etc, etc.

I wish I would have taken the time to get pics of the whole front clip back on the car, but everything was running so smoothly I forgot.

Here are some more teasers, ignore the bad body lines, and the hood is not closed all the way. We may have put three screws total back in when we were done.

The O-So Sexy Seibon Hood. It took about 20 minutes to unwrap this take the old hardware off the stock hood, and then remount this one. Seibon :tiphat: this was so easy it should be illegal.

Mr&Mrs 04-03-2011 05:02 PM

I said ignore the bad body lines but they are pretty much dead on and it is just held on with "strings" right now lol.

Did you already order it? You wont believe me how easy it was to put on until you do it you will laugh at how easy it is. I will never buy another brand hood after this.

Im telling you this kit is cake to put on. I have NEVER done work like this before and its going so smooth. You just have to take your time. Kelly who has been helping me also didn't use a screw in that spot we talked about earlier on the skirt, just double sided tape, and it is fine. The most work is sanding down the lines from the mold along all of the edges.

Mr&Mrs 04-05-2011 12:29 PM

Ok last night after wrapping one of the doors I REALLY, REALLY, liked the way the black looks with this color. So after going a little further today I have decided to keep it two tone black on top and silver on the sides. I will now be adding some Silver and black to the hood to break up the carbon a bit, and some accents on the bumpers as well. If my vision comes out how myself and the installer are seeing it, this car is going to break necks.

That looks amazing man. I'm assuming the wrap is a color that looks good in pics, but way better in person

I like the two tone idea. Do you have your rear windshield tinted? If not you should definitely do it. That will go great with the black roof.

Mr&Mrs 04-05-2011 01:00 PM

The color in person is 100 times better. The rear window is the same tint as the sides.

toner123 04-05-2011 01:17 PM

Hey I am not doubting there easy to install my only concern is drilling holes to line it up. There are spots in the skirts that look like that's where they should be drilled at but I am unsure. Is that the spots you pit the holes in? Thanks for your help man goes appreciated

docaam 04-05-2011 01:28 PM

Black and this colour definitely looks nice. I will suggest leave the front pillars and outer part of trunk in black and roof. Something like VIP status Z

FuszNissan 04-05-2011 01:41 PM

Wow! Great looking work!

Jamaica 04-05-2011 02:48 PM

I drilled right in those spots and mine lined up perfect. I used a drill bit the same size as the mark. Even if they do not line up perfect you can make them a little bigger to have some play, and just use a washer if needed.

Fly1 Motorsports 04-05-2011 04:33 PM

Daaaaaamn....the fenders wrapped w/ CF accent looks :yum:

simota1 04-06-2011 10:59 AM

Yep that is my plan. Thanks everyone for the comments. Sorry no updates for a couple days im kinda stuck right now. Installer will not be back until Sunday, no headlights, no mesh, no steering wheel, no wheels = no progress UGH!

I did lose a bolt in my door putting the passenger side door handle back in DOH!

Mr&Mrs 04-06-2011 05:52 PM

Im still looking for a Base M Black that would want to trade for my M Black Sport Hatch local. I need it by next week to install the CF Amuse Wing.

SeeyaBud86 04-06-2011 06:11 PM

The wrap looks very, very good. And the two tone with the silver is going to look amazing. The fenders are :yum:. I may have to reconsider...

Mr&Mrs 04-10-2011 06:55 PM

A few more shots wont be posting anymore until the car is back together. Then I should also have some pics from the show on the 16th.
