Plans are in swing to be at Z Nationals so if you missed the car at ZCON and are near Z1 come by say hello and see the car in person!

I saw the car pop in Zcon photos! Glad you made it. The car looks great.

The car that won was absolutely beautiful and freshly restored. I meant to ask how close I was with scoring to see what I can improve on. I know I got 99/100 on exterior speaking with the judge after the show. We secured Most Overall Points Peoples Choice, Peoples Choice RZ34, Nissan Factory Favorite Best Modified (selected by Nissan Designer), and 1st Place Ultra Modified Z. Here are some pictures. So happy to finally have it out in the wild.

I think a custom e brake would have gotten you that extra point

I will know for sure by Wednesday if I'm coming. This storm has me on the fence at the moment.

Yeah, I see it coming. Depending on what the storm does, I may not go either. I am not standing outside in the rain. I will trailer the car up in my enclosed trailer. I don't drive it long distances.
I have too much invested.

As of now it looks like it will be gone by Saturday and I missed track day registration anyway, not quite finished tuning. Im currently having issues finding a shipper though. I was going to trailer it myself but didnt realize how much width got added with this body kit until I measured it last week. Now I'm trying to find a shipper and I dont know if its because of the storm or the car description, no one is bidding on it.

WOW, I am glad I bought a trailer. It just made sense for me because I already have a diesel dually truck. Your car would fit in my trailer. It's 8ft wide. You are not getting your car on a U-haul trailer.

Spooler 09-23-2024 10:34 PM

Have you worked it out with Z1 to store your car there? I would guess it would need to be there on Thursday afternoon at the latest. I am on vacation all week but I need to wash my trucks and car. Plus I am bush hogging my pasture. I would offer to come get it and deliver it to Z1 but I can't bring it back. Back to work next week on Monday.

I just looked. It would be 1102 miles I would need to do in a day. I going to have to bow out. I wish I could help.

Hey, no worries I appreciate the thought! Id like to purchase a trailer but storage for me brings up another host of issues and logistics added when I want to use it. I had multiple brokers shopping it and of course they both got someone at the exact same time. Like cant make it up, got a text from both at the same time. So it should be picked up sometime tonight and dropped off by EOD Wednesday or first thing Thursday. I'm going to leave sometime Friday night to be there Saturday morning.

The blue should look familiar :icon17: it has been one of if not my favorite colors ive owned, the accelerate yellow on the vette is really nice as well. So I wanted to have a piece of it with me on this car. I decided a cool theme could be the new car/color kind of peeling away the old car/color, but with a nice gradient transition. Edit: Also I had them remove the yellow from the paint formula of the new Zs pearl and add blue in its place in equal quantity. She is super white pearl now.

I just wanted to say that it's very cool this is paint and not a wrap!

The Hurricane is making things difficult. I had to wash and load up my car today since I have rain scheduled for Thursday and Friday. I hope Saturday is a nice day.

Weather was not bad cloudy all day with two or three brief moments of sunshine. Not sure if you made it or not. We only had a little worry in Valdosta because they were nearly out of power everywhere. I didn't top off my tank in Lake City like I normally do because I figured I had enough to make it Macon. I did but seeing everything with no power we got off and filled up at the first station we found with generators. It took 1.5 hours though. Ended up everywhere north (that we went) was fine. So I kind of wasted that time, but you never know. If you did make it and we talked I apologize for not knowing your actual name versus the online handle. It was a pleasure talking with everyone I did meet and talk with.

I never saw you but I made it for a little while. Layed down 900whp/713tq on the dyno. Nice car.
