Hey TJ did you have to buy the diffuser for the bumper to properly install it? Its like $450 right? Or does the lower splash shield from a base line up? Also did you have to buy the fender liners to match the gap in the fender up? Thanks!

Yeah you need the lower diffuser and it was around $350. The nice thing about this piece is you can replace it if you ever scrape or damage it. Better than removing the whole bumper to respray it.

370zFORme!! 07-22-2011 03:09 PM

How bout the fender liners? Any need?

• F3844-1A30A (Other side) ($54.13)

TJ, it has really come together very nicely. Monterrey Blue looks amazing with the Nismo kit and wheels!

Trying to decide my next mod. A wing... Hopefully will have it on by spring.

Recently changed out a bunch of interior bulbs to LED.

Did the Map lights
Visor lights
Trunk light

Much improved and better lighting!

On the Map lights I was deciding if I wanted to get the panel board or just get a single bulb. I decided to just get a bulb and see how bright it was--it was complely fine and IMHO no need for this multiple panel board. It's expensive too.

Pulled the plug and bought a Nismo replica wing. Looks like a Seibon wing but it's FRP.

No center post just like the Seibon. It's called the Nismo 370Z Duraflex N-2.

Spoiler cost me $268 shipped! I just cannot justify paying $2,500 for the real one, plus paint and install!

Stopped by the body shop and I was quoted $600 for prep, paint and install. Good deal?

Flushnismo 03-14-2012 11:45 PM

Can't wait to see it mounted!

Xplicit97 03-15-2012 03:41 AM

Hey cuz, were you wanting to wait til I got back for a test fit on my Z still? $600 seems a lil steep for prep paint and install, but I could be wrong. I might be interested in your sport wing too if you're selling it.. Lemme know

LakeShow 03-15-2012 10:42 PM

Hey TJ your Z looks amazing and can't wait to see the wing on also. I'm seriously interested in doing the same conversion of my car to the OEM Nismo bumpers, side skirts, and the wing. If you could can you tell me where you got your parts and how much for the install and paint and what else will be necessary if so. PM me if you don't want to post it. Love your Z. :) Thanks

NA&CH 03-18-2012 12:59 AM

Sck progress homie. Great job.

Amazing car! One question though, why don't you go with Evo R's nismo high wing?

Hmmm I'm thinking about it as it will be cheaper to mount! Uses stock Sport holes...

I actually just had the Evo-R High Wing painted an installed a few weeks ago (pic attached). I'll try to get more pics posted in the coming days

Very nice! Please do!! Send me lots of pics...

tjlazer 03-21-2012 06:34 PM

I am torn on the spoiler. I think I will not be installing the ED DuraFlex spoiler after all, as they want $600 to paint/install it and I am worried about the drilling/fitment. The wing is also missing the middle post, which I am finding I really do not like, so I am thinking of getting the EVOR Highwing or just doing the OEM one. It's actually a little cheaper than I had thought. $1,600 for the parts from Nissan Parts Zone.

Dallaz 03-21-2012 08:58 PM

Yeah I like the high wing. I haven't heard much about your 370 lately, this will really top off the look! I think you could probably get it painted and mounted for a little cheaper, I would hunt around.

tjlazer 04-20-2012 11:28 PM

Decided to go with the EVO-R High Wing. It looks just like the real Nismo wing, and it's very nice quality. It's a two piece kit just like the real one, and also uses stock Sport holes to mount! Made from ABS plastic and it's pretty light.

I am very happy with it. Fitment is really good too.

Body shop had some major issues getting the Sport spoiler off though. They ended up snapping it in half trying to remove it, and it scratched the hatch. They had to repaint it.

Dembflyr 04-21-2012 12:41 PM

That looks awesome! I never understood why Nissan doesn't offer the Nismo in blue.

Good job.

MacLean 04-23-2012 03:02 PM

Looks awesome & great job on having everything put together. You would never know that it wasn't really a Nismo from only looking at the exterior. The car has all the exact parts. The only way is if you were to look inside in which you could tell. Very clean looking.
