Venom Z
Redline Graphics finished the car. Glenn's Wheel Polishing black chromed the wheels. And our very own Mike (the Powdercoater) did the calipers.

|
Lookin' good tipsz
|
looks nice. Some more close ups of the wheels please. they look cool, the black chrome came out nice.
|
I've got some catching up to do I see. Can't wait to see it in person.
|
niice!!
|
Nice unique look. BTW, why does it say 350z on your quarter windows? :p
|
orange/gold calipers ftw... nice color combo!
|
venom! badass!
|
i like it, but the hood looks kinda funky. it went pretty grunge-y everywhere else, so having a clean hood with a rather small-ish symbol is out of place imo.
looks pretty good though  |

Sick graphics you are the ultimate. I would have done a bigger venom with super tongue. But I admire you because I could never have the balls to even think of doing something that extreme. Nice job.
|
Why do I see a 350z sticker on a 370z?!

i think your Z is sick tipsz. I love the wheel color and the caliper colors, reminds me of the GTR oem combo, with the golden brembos and gunmetal wheels. Looks amazing on a pearl white body. Keep up the good work!
|
I like it a lot minus the hood decal. I would have had a huge white spider Venom decal, it kinda looks like you cheaped out on the hood. I know you didn't but everything else looks extreme but the small white spider comes off as a dud. I'm a huge venom span, your car does him justice and the wheels looks great. How much did the black chrome plating run you?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at those graphics:shakes head: The wheels and calipers look great though. |
Awesome car, looks great....
Any chance you can get a shot of the car with a straight side view in the day light? really want to see how the rim's look on a flush side shot.... |
with a licence plate like "tipsz" dont you get harrased by the cops....?....

The black chroming process was only $150 per wheel (I know Glenn of Glenn's Wheel Polishing), however I think to the average consumer it would be twice that .. so $300 per wheel is $1200 for the entire package. Again, I got special pricing so it was only $600 to get it done. |

I hear ya .. it is an extreme measure .. but I've been a fan since the early 90's. I've even got Amazing Spiderman #299 (even though the symbiote actually appeared earlier). It was between Venom and Spawn ... I might do Spawn in a few years though .. lol. The nice thing is that this is vinyl work, and thus can be easily removed / changed on a whims notice (expenses pending). Redline does a lot of standard / simple graphics as well .. I think this just shows Justin's versatility, as all that detail is tough to get applied to the curves of the Z. |

^^ That's a very clever license plate btw!

I was going to write how much I like this.
Instead, I will post a youtube link to some metal, because this is metal as ****: |

The process took about 3 weeks however. It would have been 2 weeks, but I wanted my center caps replaced and color matched .. so that had to go back out. |
I spoke to a chroming place in vancouver and they highly don't recomend doing this up here. Mainly due to the differeance in weather ie. winters....Not like I would drive the Z in winter but hate to have issues with it....but does it ever look good....Not sure how much research people have done on chroming but would like more information on the process and how it does it stand up over time...I know you mentioned the 5yr warrently which sounds great but I may have to ship the rim's a long ways to get the process done and just don't want the possible headache even if its warrently covered....
