Not sure on the weights yet, I will weigh mine when they get here. :)

The wheels are "flow formed" which is the same technology used to make Formula 1 wheels according to their website...

"Flow Forming is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. During Flow Forming, pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. Our technological breakthroughs in heat treating allow us to increase dent resistance without having to make the wheel heavier."

Well, my street/show set of Forgestar F14s will be all matte black, but I think I might get a little more creative on the set I will use at the track... :)

Good work Mike. Cant wait to see how your 370 performs :D Watched your 350 grow up. :D

Good luck,

Chris

Thanks Chris :).

I don't plan on going as crazy with the 370Z as I did with the 350Z. I built that car when commercial real estate was booming :D.

Got the tracking number for the Forgestar wheels. Looks like they will be here tomorrow! I will get them on the scales for sure, depending on when they show up I might not be able to get them mounted and on the car though until Thursday.

I know exactly what you mean :D Well it sounds like from your thread and the other from the first track even. Not much is needed to make this a great weekend track car.

No, not much at all! This is truly an exceptional platform for a track car. Can't wait to get more mods!
