I’ve had the pedals for awhile, just added the floor mat heel guard. Love when I open the door how inviting this cockpit is!

Checked another visit off the to-do list last week, and was able to get the car weighed. In addition to the power, braking, and handling upgrades I was always curious what the car weighed with the weight savings modifications that I've made. Off the top of my head, here are some of the main weight reduction mods:

-Lightweight Battery w/ 3D printed tray
-LTH
-FI Exhaust
-Full Carbon Fiber Engine bay w/ Titanium bolts
-Lightweight Flywheel
-Lightweight Pulley
-Lightweight 2-piece rotors
-Spare Tire/Tools Removed
-Racings seats/mounts
-Bash Bar

The car filled with all fluids weighed an even 3,100 lbs. on the dot. Originally w/ the build I always wanted 400hp/3,000lbs while maintaining OEM+ performance/aesthetics. I read in a 000 Porsche magazine article years ago from a Porsche engineer that 400hp/3,000lb is perfect for at street car (can't remember if that was strictly for mid/rear engine or not). Given my car is ~420hp and 3,100 lbs. that's really close to those figures and I'm quite happy. Cutting another 100 lbs. out would be difficult and excessive at this point and I really have no intentions of pursuing that mark. I will likely just imagine that without all fluids and dry weight the car is pretty close to that 3,000 lb. mark.

How are you liking that Z1 diff + Gear combo? I have yet to update my rear Diff mainly because I can't decide if I want a clutch type or not.

I like it a lot, definitely a noticeable upgrade. The 4.09s really helps with the lack of torque that this car has. I never had a problem with the viscous LSD on the street but the Z1 is noticeably better at getting the power down when throttling out of corners. I always drive with TCS off. One improvement I didn’t expect/think much about before install was the improved throttle off deceleration into a corner. Only negative that I could share at this point as there is more noise from the diff on decel, a slight whine. If you never drive the car prior I doubt anyone would even notice.

Very cool. I'm at 154K and My diff has seen enough abuse from track use, but i'm in a situation where i'd have to send it off to get it built. The pumpkin i have is the rare fully finned one so the car will have to be down for a whie (which isn't that big of a deal). I know the geared type is probably what i'll go with since i dont see much track time anymore but getting the final drive swapped is definitely a must.

Speaking of TCS, you should add the performance TCS program from ECUtek on your map. I have that on my flex map and it's good in the wet.

I've used this battery in another car before. It definitely needed recharging if it sat for a while.

Yea I've never had a problem with it. Typically the car doesn't sit for more than a week or two at a time. Even during the winter I will start it up and let it get to operating temp. Probably should grab a battery tender, just never have.

I have mine at 3120 lbs track trim.

Which is Street trim less:
Passenger touring seat
Replace driver seat with Cipher driver seat
Spare/sub/tools removed
Enkei wheels/track tires
7 gal fuel

Including the penalty of the heavy azz VR30 trans and converter.
