Mike, could u tell me about the JDM cooling plate. I'm not interested in buying it since it's sold, but does it just go on top of the area in the engine buy or do u replace something/take something out to install it. Basically does it go over something or do u have to take something out to install it....

It replaces the plastic piece that is there, fairly simple replacement (10 push pins or so), pull out the old one and put the new one in.

gotta wiggle the front bumper a little bit to get it underneath, though.

True, but that is very minor.

Mike, Last question....Sorry to keep bothering u, but I remembered that u drove a BMW with an APR splitter somewhere, but I had a question about the splitter. Do u think u could give me an estimate of the weight of the APR splitter on the BMW, I want to get an idea of how heavy it would be on the 370z...

Thnx

I have no idea. I wasn't the one who installed it. The first time I saw it, it was already on the car.

lol, that's cool,

thanks

Not sure if I can help here, but the APR splitters are actually pretty heavy to be honest. I have installed one on an S2000 and on a 370Z just the other day. There is also one on the BC Racing widebody Time Attack G35 that I drive (that I helped install). There is not a lot of splitter options out there on the aftermarket so its great that APR makes them..... but they are pretty damn heavy..... LOL

Thanks, I've been considering APR, but I think I'll go to either Robispec or if I'm not too serious, I might go Stillen if I find that it is a true splitter and not a little lip on the front of the Z. It's made of Urethane, so I have no idea how heaavy it could be.....Thanks though
