Thanks fellas. Needs some other exterior mods now to match the agressiveness of the wing. Front lip and side skirts at least. It needs rotors first though after a year of tracking. Wish I could spend the money on a front lip instead of rotors though. :(
|
yeah a nice aggressive lip to help balance the wing is what you need for sure.

Broke down and spent WAY too much money on a new set of wheels today lol. 60-90 day wait, but I couldn't help it....

I do love your now "old" wheels.... Don't think it's the right fit for PW though.

Definitely not going gold. The matte black is really the question. Don't realistically have the money for wheels anyways. Plus I have NISMO wheels :D Maybe something different down the line.

Just couldn't resist could you? LOL
They are sexy wheels. |
Looking good Mike! Any plans for interior work such as seats are harnesses?
Curious do you know what the fastest NA 370Z (both stock and modified) have run at BW13? |

Right now, from what I know. It was the blue Robispec/Pizzafactory 370Z at Super Lap Battle 2009. Yokohama AD08 street tires and 2009 GrandAm ROLEX GT2 champion Leh Keen behind the wheel. 2:00.585. A record that will surely be broken this year now that these cars have more performance oriented aftermarket support. Or someone who shows up with R-Compounds and a mildly modified 370Z. As for interior plans for my car. My BRIDE Zeta IIIs are currently up for sale. Would eventually like to get some Cugas or some other aftermarket reclineables since its going to stay a daily driver. Thats about it. Since it wont be seeing much track time, if any, anymore there will be no roll bar or aftermarket steering wheel, or anything fun and I am not into stereo systems or any other traditional "show car" stuff so it will remain simple. |
Cool Mike, but you are keeping your wing?

I just bought these wheels as well. The first batch of wheels will be done being made in 2 weeks than another 1month and 2 weeks to package and get to SSR. Your might be in this batch. I bought these in the specs in my sig. they are the sames specs as the red 370 you have a pic of. The same red z in the ssr ads. These are the lightest wheels ssr has ever produced. How big of a rear lip is that???

On a personal note...
Spy Optic came back on as a personal sponsor for my driving efforts in 2010! And I re-designed my website... Bonanni Motorsports | Home As for the car. Finalizing my 2010 vinyl layout for the car this week and will get it applied next week in time for the Berk Technology Charity Ride-A-Long/Hellaflush 3.5 event. The new livery will be colored to match the new 2010 Berk Technology Time Attack 135i livery since the 370Z will be on display in the Berk Technology pit area at all of the time attacks this year. The layout of the sponsor logos will be MUCH simpler than in the past. Going for a crowd pleasing "clean" look. Parts wise, all I am waiting on is the SSR SP3 wheels to get built and delivered. I am also working on a few new sponsorships for some exciting parts, but who knows if they will happen. |
To be honest, that iFrame is terrible.
Grats on the work though. Saw some of your 135i vids  |

php includes are the cleanest way. unless you're talking AJAX, which above even my head

But now I have a new thing to Google thanks to you! PHP includes... :D |
It's pretty easy overall but it does require some understanding of code as it pertains to variables and functions. Using a combination of XHTML, CSS, PHP, and .htaccess you can make a site seem like it's much more than it really is. Makes it very easy to expand and modify too.
Alarm Express, Inc. I made this site for my old work and got massively underpaid for it. They effed up the logo/header some but the functionality is all there. Look at the "directories" and the links. Then look at the source code. It abides by all standards, and displays almost 100% identical across all browsers. |
When it comes to understanding or reading code I am pretty much clueless, especially if its something other than basic HTML. CSS, PHP, XHTML...no clue. I really only know how to copy/past code and do stuff in Dreamweaver that has a button, like changing font color lol.
|
Heh fair enough. If you run into any speedbumps feel free to shoot me a PM. Glad to help.
|
^^^Thanks! :)

Mike, you should look into jQuery. It's an open source Javascript library that simplifies regular day-to-day Javascript, as well as AJAX, DOM manipulation and effects, animationand, and etc. You don't have to be a web developer to use it. It's simple enough that web designers use it too. You just have to take some time to learn it. There is plenty of documentation and tutorials on their website and there rest of the web.
The majority of rich content websites use jQuery. You probably have forgotten about it by now, but I used it when I made that demo website for you a few months back. I mainly used it on the image slider and a menu hover effect. Good luck. :tiphat: |
^^^Thanks! :)
|
yeah my mouseover menu on that site is handled using only CSS. I've used a lot of those java scripts for things like that though.
here's the ONLY menu image used for it. http://www.alarm-express.com/images/menu/menu.gif and the code: Code:
<ul id="menu"> |
Ok enough computer jargon, back on topic. :)
A slightly used set of StopTech slotted front and OEM rear rotors on their way thanks to ChrisSlicks! http://www.350z-tech.com/w/images/th...ted-rotors.jpg |
Are there better rotors that work with the stock BBK yet, without having to buy a full kit?
