Hi Guys so far i have bought a couple of parts from evo-r and they all have very good weave and clear coat fitment is almost all perfect. I'm very impressed. :tup:

I bought each part separate over time to check the quality and if it wasnt what i wanted i wouldn't order the rest. For the price i think the parts are good and shipping to South Africa from Taiwan seems good so im happy. Here are some pictures I've got will get nice ones during the day as the sun was going down today....

Here's what i've done thus far, i'm going cosmetic before power.

1.)Carbon Fang Cover - Installed
2.)Carbon Top Cover - Installed
3.)Carbon Mirror Covers - Installed
4.)Carbon Rear Diffuser - WANTED
5.)HKS Exhaust Centre Pipe - Installed
(I have just ordered the HKS centre pipe install should be in next two weeks because could not find a cheap importer for exhausts.)

6.)Spray Stock RAYS : Sprayed

Yeah... the mirrors sort of blend into the windows this way. I like it.

Can I ask what vendor you got the carbon fiber pieces from? Looks great.

I really like your Carbon Fang Cover. It looks really sick! I would just be worried about a rock getting tossed up on the highway and smashing into it at 60mph.

Yeah that is my worry too bt so far no problems!!!!! It really makes a huge difference especially when you see it driving behind really looks meaner!!!!

Ok so i've ordered the HKS centre pipe. The diameter of the stock pipe is 57.15mm, while the HKS centre pipe is increased to 60.5mm and stays a dual pipe from the cats all the way to the muffler. (Should be here in 2 weeks).

Also my rims have gone in for painting, i know people recommend rather powder coat but finding a company that could make the color i wanted and powder coat them and not ruin it was hard. I went with Porsche and Aston Martin South Africa's wheel repair and painter and will have then done in 2 days as they work 24 hours.

Shhould be back tomorrow afternoon...

Car is shaping up to be really good looking! I love the CF parts you have on the car right now, it really sets the white off.

Thanks guy right now i only have the carbon fang cover on as i need to secure the other carbon pieces on properly as they kept on peeling off and not sticking!! arggg... Will sort it out wen i have time

What color were your rims painted?

They were sprayed black then gun metal over and then pearled with white pearl specks so in the different light they go like silvery white and other shades of grey..

Ok another update...

The HKS centre pipe is installed and i can definetly feel more power!! More growl on acceleration as well here is link to the thread with more pictures but here is before and after pics aswell...

Illuminated Kick Plates have finally arrived!!!

GTM Resonated Test Pipes on their way currently in Paris! Haha damn Fedex. (Delivery 23 Feb) , Cant wait to hear the difference between HKS Centre Pipe + Resonated Test Pipes and Stock Muffler, i think this is the first combination like this on the forum if not anywhere.....

Im still waiting for my Injens to ship form Fifa Racing at the moment then we should be reaady to go go go :driving:

Unfortunately there are no gaskets and i spoke to someone at GTM and they said nope just reuse stock gaskets ??? I hope this will be fine im getting them installed today!!! if not gonna be super pi$$ed as its not easy to send a set of gaskets "quickly" to South Africa!

I'm sure you can find 2.5" gaskets somewhere in south africa in the event that you need them.

Well took the car in to subaru at half 2 this afternoon and they struggled to work on the hot car.... they got all the bolts off but two one on each side, the top bolts for the cats , after 45 minutes of struggling to work on a hot car i was asked to leave it over night so they could work on it. i hope its alright and they dont screw anything up while im not there... will update tomorrow.. :(

Ok well they did finish fitting the pipes but they say its very "tin-ny".... I did get the resonated pipes to hopefully solve this.. im picking up the car in an hour or 2 so i hope it doesnt sound kuk !!!....

What do you guys think?? Gasket needs to be changed? Resonators by GTM too small? Resonators on HKS mid pipe to blame???...

I'll see what the car sounds like when i pick it up just now...

well Alex, this car has a lot of rasp. When you take out restrictions like cats and mufflers, it gives you power, but it also un-muffles the exhaust and brings out the raspiness. So whats to blame? I think the test pipes made the biggest difference. You might be able to fix it using HFC's.

Ok i've picked up the car and its sounds like the e46 bmw m3 with that metallic sounds..... it does hiss and rattle though.. i thought by getting resonated terst pipes it was the solution for the problem....

Lastly it for some reason feels slower???
Could this be?
