Here's a few pics of the engine cover painted, strut bar painted and half of my titanium bolts in.

Parts to arrive in the next 2-6 weeks
1. Amuse Titanium exhaust with rolled B tails (full burn)
2. M7 Japan coilovers (one of the last sets)

Parts in my spare room waiting for me to install:
1. Apr carbon splitter with a pin stripe for flare.
2.Stillen intake with blue Z1 couplers.

The car also has a Tomei titanium Y pipe, full 3M clear film wrap.
Amuse non-nismo exhaust sold but still on it
Painted door handles, GTR push start button

So F#%*N NICE!!!! Love it. That cover looks sick! Impressive with the full clear wrap.

Volk Z 01-11-2017 03:33 PM

Thanks 370zhawaii. I appreciate it!
Once the titanium emblem and all the bolts swap to titanium it will alll tie in. Plus the intake with the blue couplers will really step it up.

Volk Z 01-11-2017 03:34 PM

She just hit 2K miles too...

KamiSpeed 01-11-2017 04:37 PM

Nothing but quality on this Z! Love it man. That exhaust is super nice.

Let me get you set up with some wheels to match your name ;)

Yep that's because I had it fixed as APR didn't cut it straight. I spent like 3 hours test fitting. Plus it stuck out way too much. Now it willstick out 2inches not 3+. Also the cut is 100x better than their poor cut they made.

Perfectionist here haha

Volk Z 01-11-2017 06:40 PM

The wheel well area was cut out as well as it looked odd going straight across rather than follow the line of the bumper.
I may cut again to match up to a Zspeed undershroud I have

I've always rocked Volks but I got awheel sponsorship deal. Wheels are 4 pounds lighter per wheel than a Volk and will do much more aggressive offsets ina monoblock.
It's a secret on the wheels though :)

BboyZ 01-11-2017 08:46 PM

Ah ok. thanks for the info. Mine was pretty straight.

Does yours inside the wheel well go straight across? And is yours perfectly even on each side?

Also how far does your splitter stick out from the front bumper?

BboyZ 01-11-2017 08:58 PM

Here what I have. as far as how straight across, it pretty straight

Volk Z 01-11-2017 09:55 PM

Looks good, mine won't stick out as far which I'm cool with. It will make getting out of steep places easier since I will be dropped 1.5 inches.

Volk Z 01-11-2017 09:56 PM

Did you not cut the chin piece underneath so it's flush? I will be doing that for sure.

BboyZ 01-12-2017 03:23 PM

Yes I did that. IF I don't there is no way I can past the driveway lol

M7 Japan coilovers came in today thanks to Mike at whitehead performance!!! Fast shipping! Z1 25mm spacers on the way to me will be here tomorrow to install all :)

M7 hand made inJapan andtrack ttbylet raA driver. 10kg/8kg and come with dampening adjustment extenders and top mounts unlike KW's. These got great reviews

Spacers are just temporary until March when my wheels will be built!

Volk Z 01-12-2017 06:23 PM

M7 coilovers weighed if anyone wants to know weight specs- I will weigh Nismo once those come off!

M7 front coilover- 13 pounds
M7 rear spring and strut- 15 pounds
That is per corner. Since I'm always into dropping weight on the car I am hoping for these to be lighter than the Nismo :) we will see.

mattross1313 02-06-2017 07:07 AM

This is so nice! Good build dude.
I'd take the trims off. I've taken off my fronts so far, just need to get around to doing the rears :)

Volk, sorry to hear about the job. Cars will come and go, you will bounce back and higher and better than before and when that happens you will be able to start the fun all over again!!

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. I have a great resume but what I do is very specific so we will see:)
My whole department got laid off. Super annoying.

EternalDragon 02-27-2017 11:14 PM

Sorry to hear about the job. From my previous purchase with you, I knew you were out for a serious build, and this thread was also showing it. Bounce back in due time man.
