This was the most recent image of the car before it went to the body shop earlier this summer. Decided to have a body shop finish it up. They are extending the flares to cover the tires, "squaring up" the arches a bit, fixing the fender to door panel gap, addressing a couple of paint issues, blending, etc. It's a buddies shop so progress is slow. Expect it to be done by mid october, if not earlier. Can't argue with the price though. |
Gotta change your host, Photobucket isn't letting you share these
|
Fixed. I hope.
|
Its not working still, unfortunately
|
alright, switched to flickr #photobucketsucks. photo in update #84 should work now.

Any updates to your build?

Believe it or not it's still being worked on. The whole buddy network didn't pan out (surprise!!) so it sat in the garage for a while until I could get the funds together to have it professionally done. We are fixing some old shitty body work as well as getting all the aftermarket fiberglass totally smooth. Basically the old girl is in for a full respray. Should be back together in the next few weeks.

This project was back-burnered a few times, but is coming together. I get it back from the shop this week. I'm ready to throw some more $$ down the black hole that is this racecar!

That was more than a few weeks lol
The paint looks like it came out awesome. Do you have any more pics? |
Taking delivery tomorrow. I'll post some more photos.
haha, yea, we kept running into stuff that needed fixing. carbonsignal fitment is amongst the best, but nothing fits like OEM unless you put a lot of body work into it. auto arts in raleigh helped me get it looking OEM fitment (maybe better), but it took an eternity. |

Gotta break out the DSLR. Photos just don't do this thing justice. At least not my bad photography skills. |
Spent some time ceramic coating the wheels and car with some Carpro CQuartz a couple of days ago. Have to say, so far I am impressed, the car seems to repel dirt.

Man, this is why I love 370z builds. Most everyone has crazy amounts of attention to detail! Nice work!
|
Update?
Gotta ask how the Z is coming along. Insane start to finish, respect the patience. Looks awesome with the pictures you posted. So I have to know, did you rebarrel your wheels or cut/modify the body kit? Insane build!! :D
