Well i ended up receiving faulty TPMS sensors. I purchased my old ones back and they will be here Saturday. I'm hoping I can get it over to the shop and have them mounted. This wait is killing me lol.
In the mean time here are a couple more pics of the new wheels https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1549/...50ce6e52_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1641/...48737f97_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1477/...2467b98e_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1484/...c0d17b8a_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1694/...a370b454_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1697/...2d303e1b_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1479/...4a4a13da_b.jpg |
That's kind of funny that you had to buy your own sensors back. But I guess it worked out well for both you and Gerg.

THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER!!!!
You are looking at the WORLD'S FIRST 2015 Nismo sitting on Vossen VFS1 in a 20x9.5+25 and 20x12+30. The fit is spot on. I wanted them to sit somewhere in between aggressive and flush and they ended up pretty close. Later on I might try to trim the edges on the flares, get a small spacer to poke them out a little more and lower it a tad. For now though it sits just how I wanted. Overall I am completely impressed with this set up. I owe a huge thank you to the Vossen team and Diego in particular for making this happen. Later on I'll post a review about the Nitto NT555 G2's.
I am running a 255/35 and 305/30. So far they are pretty quiet and handle really well. I'll be able to judge on them more when it warms up here in the Midwest. |
I had the chance to take the Z out today and snap some better pics. I'll post a couple previews but the rest will be in the Flickr link.
I wish this site was like MyG37 where it allows full resolution uploads :ugh: Enjoy! The car currently sits the same as before. I've been taking it easy for now but might be buying an exhaust in the near future. That is next on the list
In the mean time here is a shot from Wekfest Chicago yesterday. A lot of amazing builds from all over. I was featured in the Vossen x AutoArt Chicago booth. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1519/...2371c49f_b.jpg |
Looks awesome so far.
I'm in the south burbs of Chicago and just picked up my red '16 370z. Do you know if there are any local Z groups? ChicagoZ is pretty much dead from what I saw. I've just been hanging out with all the Subaru crowd. |
Unfortunately this will be the last few pics of my Z. A few things came up and I had to part ways with it.
It was a pleasure to build this car and a big thank you to everyone who contributed. I will be moving into a new Q60 Red Sport next week and will post a few shots before I leave.
