6spd - Pearl White 370Z

Hello the370Z.com, my name is Jay. I bought this pearl white beauty in October 2009. I love it in every way possible and will be keeping it for a very long time! Here are the pictures:

Newest Pics:

I just finished this shoot and did some processing. This camera is a beast. I'm just coming off of a Nikon, so getting used to the Canon comes with a learning curve. These pictures came out well, but the best part is the versatility of the camera, and I'm just getting started. I'm gonna have far more in the future, but for now, you can all enjoy these:

Here are pictures of my fore-gone RSX. I was an active member on ClubRSX.com for many years and posted probably over 100 pictures. These are among the best:

http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...c52nr/CRSX.jpg

It was a fantastic car. I paid it off very quickly and traded it in for equal to what I originally financed, so it was an opportunity I couldn't pass on. I hope the next owner treats it with the same respect I did.

I'll have many a high quality picture coming soon. I will post every new picture here for all to see.

-Jay

thanks, the white was the first Z with the sport package I had seen, mainly because these cars are very scarce in my area. both my fiancee and I couldn't believe how nice it was! I had to get that, especially coming from a black car... i detail all the time and black just plain sucks.... to keep on top of anyway.

Nice looking cars, both of them! Your RSX has a twin, someone I work with has theirs set up very similar. Nice car.

there are so many around. there is a guy in my town who's looks almost exactly the same. on clubrsx.com, it isnt so much about the cars (because they all look the same) as it is how good the picture of the car is. thats how i got into automotive photography.

Wow !

So weird to see someone who had the same make/model as I do and traded it in for the same thing I want. Just too weird !

i got 14250 for it, which is actually what i initially financed it for... so that worked out well. i could have sold it for more, but wouldn't have gotten the tax break from trading it in.

no, mine match fine. i never would have accepted the car if anything was that wrong with it.

another new one in the first post

6spd 04-03-2010 02:02 PM

I just finished installing my new MotoFloor garage tile flooring. This stuff really is great. All in all, with the paint and supplies, it cost me $1100. Not bad considering how long this stuff will hold up for and the way it sets the garage apart from others. The quality is superb and the look, along with the painted walls, really is awesome. If you guys have done the same, post some pictures of your garage. No matter if its large or small, organized or disheveled, lets see you garage designs.

rsx was on point ! lovin' the pearl white 370z .

6spd 04-03-2010 08:21 PM

the rsx was very very very fun to drive, much lighter feeling than the Z, but the Z is far more stable and planted, except those rear wheels, haha!

Slynky 04-04-2010 04:46 PM

From one RSX --> Z convertee, I can say the same thing about the drive difference.

But, that garage...that's just awesome ! Good job !

6spd 04-04-2010 10:45 PM

Thanks!

Looks great! I'm also from clubrsx (since 03 damn). I recognize you from there actually. I'm getting a 370z next, but I'm just not sure I need one yet because I'll be going to law school in a few years, but that's a whole other story. I'll be driving to clients for the next year or 2 so I need to be able to handle snow, so I doubt the Z will be up to Chicago weather.

How's do you like the upgrade? I'm just worried about the handling difference of the sport 370 vs. my modified RSX. I want to get a 2 seater while I can and I also feel like some torque. I hate to say it, but I almost feel like I've outgrown the RSX at age 23. I feel that I am just dropping too much money into it and it's not fast lol. I'm adding stage 2 stoptech brakes next as I track it. My mugen SS and 25 rear sway really make a difference!

nice! handling is superior to the rsx in every way except that you can lose it a lot easier in the z!

k20z3 05-17-2010 08:01 PM

Your photography is exceptional, your use of Bokeh and lighting works really well with you. Are you using a prime?

thank you very much! honestly... i have no idea what bokeh or prime are! I just point, shoot, and photoshop and the results, well i'd say they are unique.

k20z3 05-17-2010 09:50 PM

Regardless, the shots are great you have a great Point and shoot.
Bokeh (the blur depth of field) and your lighting in your last shot is nice unless thats all PS

k20z3 05-17-2010 09:53 PM

oh prime, are prime lenses but it doesn't matter with a point and shoot. you just are good with working with lighting!

6spd 05-18-2010 06:04 AM

Oh, I didnt mean I use a point and shoot, I use a D40 (getting a d5000 soon), but thats just how I shoot. I guess I have an eye for good angles so it doesnt take long to get a good shot. the lighting effects are mostly edited and the blur is all the camera's work.

here is a before and after:
