:pics:

I'm going to bring my camera gear as well. We should work some group shots in at the picnic for the MAZOC web site.

b1adesofcha0s 07-21-2014 02:05 PM

Can I get some of the maybe's on the list to start confirming their attendance. Would help get a more accurate headcount for people bringing food.

I recommend you adjust your route from college ave to use River Rd instead and then regroup in old E if needed. That's a cool stretch of road with a few twisties and its narrow right next to a river, there's also a pretty cool abandoned building that would be cool for a photo shoot. Fun road just need to be safe!

just take Illchester until it turns into River.

Yeah I made the route quickly, based off as best as I could remember from yesterday. I like that plan, although that isn't the route we took precisely.

Come to think of it, we rode up New Cut Road from Montgomery Road. Regardless, your change is just as good I think, and less prone to breaking the group up through Old Ellicott.

rolling shots would be pretty sweet, you guys can have the cruise though.

Your gripe a long time ago was that you didn't like going on the cruises because we were hauling *** and potentially breaking the law. I have no intention of doing this when I lead this cruise - in fact, I catered it SPECIFICALLY towards a scenic, slow cruise. So do you just not like actually driving with other people? lol

Cruise I like, starting time not so much :p

I will try to make it, but if I waste up late, I will just meet you guys there.

The start time is only 30 minutes different from the "straight there" route. Go to sleep earlier, slacker. Even I'LL be there :-p

What is this "go to sleep earlier" you're talking about? Never heard of it. :p

I should be ok since I will be off the Ramadan sleep schedule. Just gotta get some caffeine in the morning to wake up.

Will the Target SB's be open?

I lead cruises in a Focus/Fiesta ST group all the time. But I drive slow and people still have fun. I believe our cars were made to be driven in. So many people buy these cars, do all these mods, and all they do is cruise back and forth to work. Have to enjoy your 30 grand purchase!

I can understand what you mean about large cruises though. If people are booking it, yes they attract a lot of unwanted attention. Go slow like me, you wont have that problem.

How many people attending will be eating burgers? And what is your preference... standard or Sriracha? Need to get an idea of how much ground beef I need to get from the butcher.

Never had a sriracha burger, other than putting sriracha ON a burger. Put me down for two of those (one for the wife and I).

2 Sriracha burgers for me :tiphat:

b1adesofcha0s 07-22-2014 11:44 AM

Steve, I moved you from the maybe to the confirmed list. Seems like we should have around 20 people if the attendance list doesn't change drastically in the next 2 weeks.

aniceh 07-22-2014 12:11 PM

I have the same question as Steve, but for the salmon - let me know who will be eating it so I can purchase a sufficient quantity.

If that's ok with the MAZOC Prez, let me know how many and I can add them to the list.

I'd make small portions for the proteins.... I have a feeling I'm going to want to try a lot of things there - a huge burger would defeat the purpose :-p

One for me please! Thanks

Z Stig 07-22-2014 10:15 PM

I just realized that I had not signed up for anything specific to bring yet.

So here it is: Tofu burgers for all! (I can't even type that with a straight face  )

I'll bring some sodas, cheese for the burgers, a cooler with ice and a canopy. I'm also volunteering to get there early to help reserve a spot. Looking forward to it!

I've never had a Sriracha burger, so I don't know what to expect, but you only live once, right... Put me down for one. Thanks

I'll take 1 regular burger Sir Steve.

I'll be making a run this weekend to pick up supplies as well, so I'll see what's leftover.

Will the chef(s) need aluminum foil or something to use for cooking/resting surfaces?

I'd guess, mixing sriracha into the ground beef before cooking.

You could always ask the guy who is cooking them... :p

m4a1mustang 07-23-2014 08:14 AM

Since I'm doing the burgers I will also get the buns. I am taking Robs advice and will be making smaller sized burgers since it seems like we're going to have a lot of different protein options, and a full sized burger would fill most people up!
