If you can convince mykindaguise (cody) to come down from PA, him and his buddy pat had the process of opening them up without the use of a heat gun down to a science..

Mine are done as well. We actually hosted a party at EW's house last year for this exact thing.

2 years ago I think. Not last year.
Also remember we ruined 2-3 sets of headlights. Cody's came out well.

My advice? Pay someone to do them. It's not really that hard but the margin for error is non-existent. Lots and lots of ways to ruin your headlights. I'm absolutely willing to help you, but I'd much rather put you in touch with my local guy who did mine after I botched them.

Me too! I agree that DIY can be fun, but expensive if some incorrectly ;). I'd be interested in paying a skilled person to to them. I'd be interested in price, and how long I would need to be without the lights, as this is my DD.

Same here. I didn't realize there was someone locally to do it. I'm totally in, if the price isn't absurd.

I'll PM you guys. He's not a forum sponsor and I don't want to piss anyone off. Prices are a la carte and very reasonable. Usually, you drop your car off on a Friday evening and pick it up on Sunday night. He is in Clarksburg MD.
