I've never really found any of the GTA games particularly difficult. There's always a couple missions you have trouble with for some reason or another.

Well what made this particularly easy was the checkpoints throughout missions which I dont remember in past games. So if you're five minutes into the mission and fvck up you dont have to start over again. I have to admit, it was certainly helpful.

Yeah that's true, I forgot about that. It did help in saving you from having to do long drives over and over again for missions.

I always thought they both referred to the same thing. Thanks for posting this

The article is maybe a touch pedantic. DCI doesn't own the term 4K, and "consumer 4K" (4K UHDTV) has more or less become a resolution standard in it's own right.

2160p isn't terribly catchy and 4K is a neat (and slightly misleading--even better!) marketing term.

I was planning on buying a new TV when we move into our house in a couple months, but I've been tempted to wait like a year and hope that 4K TV's become more affordable by then. I'll probably just stick with the usual 1080p for now and upgrade in a couple years.

I think the challenge with 4K is going to be content.

I'm patiently waiting for 21:9 aspect ratio to become popular. It'll replace triple monitor setups :D

I like how they curve it too... will fit nicely on a desk lol

LG's 105-inch, 21:9 curved UHD TV is wide enough to be a tanning bed

Yeah that's what I figured. Another reason to wait. I just got excited since I saw one in person for the first time this past weekend.

I highly doubt it will replace multiple monitor setups.

That's probably true, I was only thinking about my setup when I posted that lol
I'm not a fan of multimonitor setups because there's little issues here and there that get annoying sometimes

exsanity 01-07-2014 08:26 AM

It would look amazing for things, such as games, that are designed for it, but I'd still rather have 3 monitors so I can have three working windows up at any one time.
