Sorry, I forgot to message you back on FB. I can provide the garage and an eye, if you'd like. Just pick a day with good weather, my car is finally clean and I dont feel like getting it all covered in water spots :-p

I'm bad at this sort of thing but I would be happy to lend a hand assuming you have someone else telling me what to do.

oil cooler is a pretty easy install. only tough part is when running the lines through the passenger side of the bumper/dust shield area.

mounting is pretty straight forward. also the sandwich plate is simple as well.

took me like a hour i think with beer breaks.

This weekend? :D I'm due for an oil change, so I'm trying to coordinate the two.

I think that could work.

And if anyone knows anyone who might want to buy a used kit, give me a yell. I may be selling soon.

I'm sooo glad I got this kit. I read and re-read the oil cooler threads and was almost unable to make a decision (which is really a decision not to buy in effect). I got tired of being a mobile fry-daddy, so I took the plunge and now oil temps are no longer an issue. No more nagging worries about having to back off the throttle because of oil temps.

Then there is this:

Plenum and HFCs are waiting for install. Area Z shops are a bit backed-up, but soon I'll be able to pass the neighbor's '70 L48 quicker than a 7 layer burrito.

I'm sorry, but that graph looks hilariously simplistic and incorrect. What is the source?

I'm sure some oil cooler conglomerate bent on international domination developed it. But, it passed all the peer-review hurdles needed to get published on the interwebs so it must be right.

I agree completely. I'm pretty sure that there wasn't a lot of empirical data that went into this one. The problem is that if we limit ourselves to fact-based posting, there are many fewer opportunities to make our presence known.

I think it's a graph USA Today would be proud of.
