Tires are at my house. Hopefully getting them all mounted tonight!

Yeah, terrible for the car!

My office is probably moving in the spring from Columbia to Owings Mills :|

Once the weather is nicer I will be walking for sure. Probably not so much in January when we move.

This is exceptionally funny because I used to live in the apartments right across the street from my current office. I moved down the road a bit...and the office is moving with me.

Did a bit more testing with launching tonight. Took it up to 3000rpm with no one else around at half clutch and dropped it and the whole rear end went nutso. First it swung right and without me adjusting the wheel swung back left (tires squealing) and then it jumped forward enough to scare me a little - almost felt like it was going to go airborne. Managed to shift just under the redline laughing like a lunatic and 2nd-4th were normal. Did this 3-4x before I got the hang of it and now I need gas. Looks like 3000rpm is the sweet spot.

*this was in a parking lot not a public road

Not sure why you are doing clutch drops. You're on street tires.

It's also cold, so if you're still on your summer tires you have little/no grip.

Drove back to Buffalo on all seasons in my Silverado during the storm on Saturday, in 2WD. Who needs snow rubber?

People in Alaska, I suppose...

Gotcha. If you want to practice real launches quickly feather the clutch as you roll onto the throttle.
