Completely off topic and falling within the realm of totally useless information related to the all powerful OZ. Patricia mentioned something to me after the past MD meet about how the after market Z emblem some folks are rocking looks just like the OZ symbol from the original L. Frank Baum series of books.
I had to go check and sure enough they are very similar. Specifically, when you look at many of the illustrations that accompanied the series of books, particularly, "Ozma of OZ" and others, you'll see the familiar to us Z symbol. Here is the front emblem: http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...ps477532f4.jpg Here are the L. I removed the entire assembly and the clutch feel SIGNIFICANTLY improved. It feels exactly like my Honda Civic Si now. You can feel pressure from the pressure plate - it gets rid of that annoying stutter/shaking when you let the clutch out too fast. It even eliminates clutch chatter now since you know exactly where the engagement point is. It takes all of 3 minutes to do, just need needle nose pliers and a flat head screwdriver. |
