Happy Valentines MAZOC

jpkirk 02-14-2015 01:35 PM

Indeed, happy valentines day.

For the glass half empty view ...

The Bloody History of Valentines Day

I think I will stick with candy, cards, and a romantic evening.

Wait ... I am sicker than a dog ... defer till next week eh?

:icon17:

MightyBobo 02-14-2015 05:59 PM

So while I'm thinking of it, any of you fools want to meet up on Saturday for some karting?

Thanks, I absolutely love it. I know I missed out on the great fuel economy of the smaller diesel Canyon/Colorado coming out, but I picked up a metric ****-ton of interior space for passengers in the rear. Which is kinda more important to me.

eastwest2300 02-15-2015 08:20 PM

Hell yeah dude... congratulations man.

jpkirk 02-15-2015 08:48 PM

Freezer burn ... got some freezer burn goin' on.

MightyBobo 02-18-2015 12:18 PM

So yeah, what a disappointing snowfall. I was hoping to give inner tube rides behind my truck, but there wasnt even any snow left on the ground the next day to do it.

jpkirk 03-08-2015 06:39 PM

The season will be on in the next couple of weeks eh? Been awful quiet in here.

Kirkster 03-09-2015 09:48 AM

Been too damn cold to go out in the garage. But that is changing this week. Time to get the Zs out of hibernation.

Hey Kirk, if you have time this weekend or next weekend I'd like to stop by and pick up my stock parts from your garage. If I remember correctly I think it's just the intakes.

Just registered for my first HPDE at Summit Point, Arpil 18-19. Huge thanks to TakJak2 for answering about a hundred of my newb questions.

I know quite a few of you guys have attended HPDE's, how did you guys like them?

It was definitely awesome. Definitely watch out for cops when you get into town around Summit Point. I got a speeding ticket on my 2nd day going there. There is a point where the speed limit changes by like 20 mph and that's right where they got me.

Crux 03-09-2015 11:41 AM

Thank you for the heads up. I'll be sure to keep it slow. Did you stay overnight in the area or drive home both days?

Drove home. It's only like 1.5 hrs from here, which is pretty much like going to NoVA.

takjak2 03-09-2015 10:15 PM

I am headed to VIR in two short weeks, but I will will see you at Summit in April!

I usually camp out at the track. To save money for tires!

Which track?

Been to Summit many times. I love Shenandoah.

Crux 03-11-2015 08:37 AM

I wish it were the Shenandoah. I think its the main circut though. I'm sure I'll learn a ton either way.

How do you like the HPDE events bobo?

Also everyone should watch out for those exhausts that damage your engine o_O

Anyone know of any good place for apartments in the Baltimore area or surrounding? My budget is $900-$1100 right now 1 bedroom or Studio. Till the VA finishes my claims with their slow asses as I finally have my appointments for ratings increase in May after 6 months of waiting. That might take another 6 months after for the decision so I'd like to move closer since I am always going to the VA hospital in Baltimore 1 or 2 or 3 times a month sometimes.

MightyBobo 03-23-2015 07:22 PM

Try somewhere in Dundalk? I live here and my MORTGAGE isn't much more than your maximum payment. I'm sure an apartment could be found.

Bro, i cant wait to see your Z..

MightyBobo 03-29-2015 10:18 PM

I wont pester everyone here about it, but I'm running the Maryland Half-Marathon here on May 9th. If you want to donate towards the cause (UMD's Greenbaume Cancer Center), feel free, but don't feel obligated. Just trying to get excited for the run is all.
