Im up to my eyeballs in snails haha.

Seriously though that turbo is sick. Custom built to hopefully provide the sickest spooling single turbo setup the forum has seen. Well worth every penny spent.

I've got a decent amount of drag strip experience in my Z, like 50+ runs. I've been having this same problem with wheel hop for a while now. Never even thought that it could be because of a lack of LSD. Anyways, I think I'm done with drag racing in my Z. Gonna stick to HPDE's.

Wheel hop is not caused by a LSD....

wheel hop for dummies or why solid axel RWD rules the dragstrip

Well I may have been calling it wheel hop by mistake. I will admit I'm still a bit of a newb when it comes to some of these things.

Assuming what happened in the video is what's been happening all along, yes. You were definitely spinning one wheel, and the other simply wasn't.

Urban Dictionary: one wheel wonder

Listen to this video: the shuddering of the car is an obvious indication of wheel hop.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHlEWHJ-o2w

Also, I'm glad to see that "one-wheel-wonder" was actually defined in urban dictionary, and I wasn't just making it up lol

b1adesofcha0s 03-09-2013 06:52 PM

Haven't looked at the video yet. I'll check it out and let you know. I can tell you that from inside the car it felt exactly the same as before.

b1adesofcha0s 03-09-2013 06:59 PM

Yeah that is what always happened. Car always slid to the left. I remember someone telling me they saw the one wheel spinning before but they told me it was because I might have gotten some water on one tire.

Newp, definitely an LSD issue. Or, lack thereof.
