Kind of annoyed at that but it was worth it. And Marlon did a great job.

Glass quality is perfect, too. I know some people worry about non-OEM glass. But it's made by the same people that make the OEM glass. ;)

A real Pho house only sells Pho!! haha  I love their broth much better, afterall that's what differentiates between them all!

4r3s 03-22-2013 01:51 PM

I like this review of the place:

"I am Vietnamese, grew up in an all Viet/Chinese family.. if I don't know what superb pho (like homemade pho) tastes like, I think my people would chuck uncooked rice at me :D LOVE LOVE this pho place! Only downside, I guess to any establishement apart from Starbucks, if you sit there longer than it takes you to eat your pho, the older gentleman behind the counter or sitting at the table closest to the door will stare you down lol. Either way, they're food is still more comforting than the old man ;D"

Sales@AAMComp 03-22-2013 01:54 PM

hahah it's true, it's far from upscale

Let me explain this clearly from the point of that old man:
I opened this business to have customers, if you are done with your bowl of soup, :gtfo2: as you are taking one table that could possible turn into a 4 bowls of soup of my money!!!
Btw, the onwer of that place is a long time friend of mine ;)

eastwest2300 03-22-2013 02:10 PM

Back when I was in the service and I would go to a foreign country, I'd ask the local cab driver or the bell boy (not the concierge) where they eat at. Often they would first recommend the typical tourist places. When I explained I wanted to know where THEY ate, they often had a different place and there I'd go. Now, in some places in Hong Kong (Wanchai), you would not do that at the risk of getting killed. Its just that way if you are a foreigner. However, most places always have little back alley eateries with the most authentic and best tasting dishes at normal prices.
