You guys ahould make it out to Katies C&C sometime, out in Great Falls, VA. Its the biggest C&C in the area and gets quite packed when its nice out.

That can be the unofficial VA location for the club

Wouldn't really be much of a MAZOC meet then. Katie's is nice, but it's hard to make it there for those that live in MD. If you haven't been there at least once, I would highly recommend checking it out in the spring/summer. You have to get there by 6:30-7 AM though.

Thanks Joe. I love to drive my Z. I'll go anywhere and almost anytime. Doesn't take much of an excuse to get me moving. And in my opinion it is important to have several cars in the group. Makes for a much better day (or evening.) Let's make a plan and get together soon instead of just talking about it. We're wasting good top down weather. Regards, Dave

Weather doesn't look that great for this coming weekend. Way early forecast shows temps in the 70s next week. Let's aim for Saturday March 12th if the weather is good.

Let's plan on going to the Hunt Valley Cars and Coffee together the next time we get good weather on a Saturday. There's some great backroads to drive around that area as well. I was cruising up there yesterday with the top off and passed right by MA Motorsports.

There really are some good back roads. Whether it's Falls Rd., or a nice ride is Paper Mill Rd through the reservoir area and then Sweet Air Rd/Baldwin Mill Rd/Long Green Pike. And if you are feeling bold, try the very narrow two-way, blind curves, of Factory Rd & Notch Cliff Rd. Back in my youth we did our best "Dukes of Hazzard" impressions there and went air-born quite often. Totaled my dad's Dodge Royal Monaco there back in 70's.

Hey Dave, there are some very nice roads in Harford County for drives. I use to reside there in Pylesville. The back roads to Rocks State Park are nice. I'm familiar with most of the radar hide-a-ways the Harford County Sheriffs setup at. To those not familiar, it's wise to use WAZE APP or a detector; Harford County Sheriffs cut little slack!

Good choices I know them all except Factory Rd and Notch Cliff Rd. You'll have to take me there.

Awesome, I'll have to check those out some time. Here's a Google Maps link to the route I took last time. Didn't quite make it the whole way since the reservoir area was closed off. Had to cut out at Providence Rd to end my run.

Falls Rd to Loch Raven Reservoir

Well fellas, if you hadnt heard by now.. last sunday morning as I was just about to enter the Saginaw Airport, I slipped and fell badly on some ice, ending up breaking my ankle and leg (below the knee) all at the same time.. I somehow still caught my 630am flight, and made it down here to Quantico.

So Im crutching it up, and will be on crutches several months.. I saw the Orthopedist yesterday and surgery on the ankle could be on the horizon, I go back to see the Dr on the 18th..

I hope all is well... Miss you guys.

Good luck with the recovery man! If you're feeling good enough before you head back, we can definitely arrange a dinner meet for you. Just let us know when/where.
