Anyone have the stillen g3 intake? I have it and had to take my Z in cuz I wasn't getting any power while on the gas. Guy says it might be the intake causing the problem. Says its something about too much air getting into the fuel or something like that. Any ideas?

It's probably a loose connection somewhere.

Probably a leak in the system AFTER the MAF. Like Steve said, check connections.

Also, what "guy" - an actual mechanic? What's his basis?

He is a mechanic at the Nissan dealer I had the cat back installed at

Pull them off, put your factory stuff back on, and check it and see if your power is back. Then reinstall your stillen g3 and recheck. (thats what i would do)

That's what the guy at Nissan suggested to do as well

D's suggestion above is probably your best analytical bet. Take it off, try without, put it back on again and double-check your connections.

Hope they arent charging much. That's a lot of labor money just to test a simple cat-back lol

This is something you could do and save yourself the money in labor, its pretty easy..

Stillens aren't covered under warranty...

That, or you have a REALLY nice dealership.

They installed it but I'll double check
