Really? When have you ever gone to FFX?

Cristobal09 03-14-2014 08:16 AM

Ill be there in the Evo tomorrow dropping off my niece at the Kohl's around 9:45. If nobody is there, ill just head back home.

Z Stig 03-14-2014 08:32 AM

I should be there about then also.

Hey chris and z stig :hello:

Crux 03-14-2014 12:22 PM

I visited the FFX meet a little while ago and it was awesome! Surprisingly close to the MD border, and it was a pretty nice drive. I won't be able to make it this weekend, I have to work some OT to support my mod-bug-bite wounds.

I'm not sure if it's been discussed here before, but has anybody ever thought of getting up a little earlier and cruising over to Katie's on a Saturday morning? The meet is in Great Falls Va (about 20 minutes north of the FFX meet location), and there are always world-class cars there (sorry if it sounds like I'm advertising).

Later in spring/summer there will be more cars. Still too cold out for me to even bring out the Z.

Also along the same lines for Columbia guys:

Hunt Valley Horsepower is having the Second Annual car meet pretty soon. Last year was apparently insane in turnout. This year I think they're turning it into a documentary and there will be a lot of media coverage on it. I'll definitely be going, and I know a few of the NGC guys will be cruising there too. I'll check out the specific dates, but would anyone be interested in going?

It will definitely be held on a Saturday (I think late March with a rain-date of April 5th?), and the meet location is 30-45 minutes from the Columbia meet location.

Date for that is March 29th. I was planning on going, but I will be in Houston for work at the time :(

No sweat. As I interpret participation in this weekly meet, there is usually a formitable turnout. We could still head out there one day this summer. ZOLE used to go to these meets pretty frequently, but I haven't seen him around here in a while.

Cristobal09 03-14-2014 02:07 PM

So....looks like a pretty non-existent turnout....looks like I may pass in that case.

I've been wanting to go to one of their weekly meets for a while, but can't seem to find anyone to go with.
