Yeah I went for performance/cost over looks when I decided to stick with the base calipers. Saved like $1500 and mine brake better on the track (unless you get a similar brake pad on the bbk).

Yes (although we could talk about how poorly the Akebono calipers dissipate heat relative to other 4-pot calipers). Stopping power is more a function of the tires. Put the Sport wheels on a base and it will stop just as quickly as a Sport package car. The Sport brakes can just do more repeated stops than the base before overheating. |
