so essentially none of the newer seat bracket bolt holes lines up at all

Yeah, they look pretty bad. It almost seems to me like drilling the floor and bolting the seats in would be the best/safest route. I have heard the 5th gen seats sit pretty low in the 4th gen cars, so some boxed steel could probably be welded to the bottom of the existing rails, then bolted to the floor. No clue really. :icon17:
