Throwing out a double MAZOC event option for Saturday March 12th. Weather looks great for the day, high of 65-70 and low of 51-55.

First option is the Hunt Valley meet in the morning. We can meet up somewhere close to Hunt Valley Town Centre at 7 and then roll into the meet at 7:30. Thought about meeting up at MA Motorsports, but it's like 25 mins away so we'd have to meet up even earlier. I'm not a huge fan of waking up early on the weekends so I'd rather get that extra sleep myself :p

Option 2 for the day is a dinner with Dee. Something near Stafford, VA would be the easiest option, but I'll throw out NOVA as a possibility if more people can make it. He's only here the next 2 weekends so if I had to choose only one event between the two it would be the dinner.

Anyone interested in options 1 or 2 or both?

Stafford for sure. Hunt Valley will be there anytime as you note. I'm in. We could meet at our regular Columbia spot and then join up with anyone who lives farther south and west on the way. I 95 around DC Beltway look like about 1 + 15. However look at leaving I 95 somewhere around Andrews AFB, hooking up with 301 to Waldorf and on to the Gov Harry Nice Bridge. Back roads from there to Stafford. Looks like about 2+ 15. What do you all think?

I'll throw out the MAZOC classic Todai in Fairfax, VA as a dinner option. It's an all you can eat sushi/seafood buffet and is pretty good. It's called Sushi On now though apparently.

Both options sound great. The Hunt Valley idea works best for me though.

Would love to swing by some weekend. I commute home to see the family in NY on the weekends. Until then I'll just keep sneaking around

MAZOC still looking for another location in VA to meet for Saturday "Coffee & Z's". Another car club ended the old location by acting like jerks. So for now we only have the Columbia MD location.

I think I'm just gonna stick with the dinner at Todai for this Saturday. Of course, you guys can still meet up for the Hunt Valley meet if you want. Like Dave said, that meet will be there every Saturday, but Dee won't always be in town.

That Todai place is like 5 min from me and I've never been there

Well the dinner is in Fairfax, but same issue for you either way. If someone in VA is willing to give Dee a ride to MD and back to Stafford then we can do something closer. Gordon Biersch in Annapolis is another MAZOC favorite spot.

I haven't had it in years, but it was good last time I had it. We used to go there all the time for lunch when we had our meets in Fairfax.

You guys & gals have fun. Even if the plan was to come to MD, things are at the point that hospice may call any hour & I would have to rush to get there. I'll meet up with you guys in a couple weeks. Have Fun!

Todai probably won't be as good, but it's an all you can eat buffet for like $30!

Apologies - I had cleared Saturday morning and day but I'm committed for Sat evening - benefit concert for 2 county police officers recently killed in Abingdon just around the corner from my house. It will have to be next time for me.

Hey guys. It has been a while since I last saw you guys. What happened to the VA meet?

I heard from others that a different car club (not associated with MAZOC) met at the VA location on Sundays, and acted like jerks (high revs, speeding, etc) and property management decided to ban all car clubs.. I'm sure someone else has more info, but this is what I heard through grapevine. It's a darn shame!

On Sunday my mother had passed away in peace. She fought "the good fight", and no longer is suffering. Thank you for your kind words that you have shared with me, it was very nice of you. I look forward to seeing you all at MAZOC Meets & events.
